If you miss the all-time favourite Taiwanese food, I highly recommend this place! The Lu Rou Fan brings back lots of memories🤤 Their bubble milk tea is a must try too, the pearls are so soft and not too sweet. For those who enjoy a refreshing drink, please try their Ai-yu drink. Promise you won't regret coming here🤞
Oyster Intestines Mee Sua (S$8+)
Braised Pork Rice (S$5.50+)
Available at @eat3bowls
Delivery was late by at least 30 minutes.
Serving was kind of small. Quite tasty.
Wish there’s some chilli sauce for mee sua.

Ordered the trio which consists of braised pork rice, chicken rice and oyster intestine meesua! The set also came with a drink.
Loved every single dish! Braised pork rice was very flavourful with each bite and the short grain rice that was used was soaked in the glorious gravy!
Chicken rice was very fragrant and although chicken breast was used, the chicken oil gravy kept the chicken very juicy and succulent.
The oyster intensities meesua was definitely the best I’ve ever eaten (Prbly even better than taiwan ah zong mee sua). Loved that the gravy wasn’t compensated with lots of starch and the meesua was not soggy at all unlike some places. The intestine and oyster was very fresh and not gamey at all.
The interior of the restaurant reminded me of taiwan and loved the tables and decor.
Will definitely return x1000000000!
Love the 卤肉饭 here, as the portion of meat to rice is just nice for me, though traditional 卤肉饭 in Taiwan is actually served with a lot less meat! I opted for the set ($8.50) which comes with the braised cabbage and ramen egg. Value for money comfort food 👍👍👍
Finally got to visit eat 3 bowls, a Taiwanese eatery, but regret not coming sooner when there wasn't a long queue. Despite coming here for a late lunch at 2-ish pm on a Saturday, we still had to queue for ~45min.
I ordered the eat-3-bowls set ($16) which came with 3 mini "mains" - oyster mee sua, chicken rice, and braised pork rice, and a drink. I got to admit that all three dishes were really well-made, probably one of the better / best places for Taiwanese food in Singapore. My favorite out of the three was the chicken rice! The chicken was tender and the rice, which was soaked in a oily chicken gravy, was so flavorful. Love it!
For the drink, I opted for the glass jelly with fresh milk. A suggestion is to leave the drink to sit for a while before drinking it so that the flavor and sweetness from the glass jelly will be well-mixed into the fresh milk.
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the ambience of this place. The eatery was designed to be like a classroom in Taiwan, with school tables and chairs. So cute!
I will definitely be back for more when we can finally start dining out in larger groups again 🥺

If you are aware of the history of Eat 3 Bowls, they started off as a hawker stall at Seah Im Food Centre before opening up their first outlet at Crawford Lane. The menu here focuses on three main dishes, the Braised Pork Rice, Chicken Rice and Oyster Intestines Mee Sua and you can order ala carte or as a set. The Braised Pork Rice Set ($8.50) comes with a bowl of lu rou fan, braised egg and braised cabbage while the Chicken Rice ($8.50) comes with the sides of Taiwanese sausage and braised cabbage instead. Both rice dishes were very good, especially the shredded chicken which has a nice savoury touch on the bed of pearl rice. The braised pork on the other hand, has a nice meat to fat ratio which melts slightly on the hot grains, giving it a nice fatty savoury mouthfeel.

If you are intending to get the signature Eat 3 Bowls set, do be sure to come on an empty stomach as this is a lot more filling than it looks! For $15, you get to try their braised pork rice, shredded chicken rice and intestines oyster mee sua, albeit at slightly smaller portions than if you had ordered the dishes a la carte.
The highlight was certainly the braised pork rice, as it came with just the right proportion of lean and fatty meat. Too much lean meat wouldn't make the dish shiok, while too much fatty meat would make the dish quite gelat. This was topped with sauce that used both light and dark soy sauce.
The shredded chicken rice was a surprise, as nobody would think of a dish that seems commonplace in Singapore. However, the chicken was pretty tender and the rice was lightly soyed, so this was a pretty interesting take on chicken rice, and should certainly not be compared with Hainanese chicken rice.
Oyster intestine mee sua came with a generous serving of intestines and mee sua, although it would be great if there was more vinegar in the gravy! Do eat this bowl first as this dish is not nice once the gravy has cooled down.
Be prepared to queue if you are coming on a weekend for lunch, even at odd hours (e.g. 2 pm)! However, the situation is slightly better on weekdays especially if you are in the area for lunch!
Loved the look of the dish, full of the ingredients and you can't see the rice at all, that's how all braised pork rice should be served! And all the deliciousness can be spread through the dish when you start mixing the braised pork with the rice.
Overall it's super tasty, one of the best Taiwanese food in Singapore. For those with bigger appetite, can opt to go for their signature Eat 3 Bowls ($16) where you get to try the braised pork rice, chicken rice and oyster intestine mee sua but each at a slightly smaller portion.
They can be individually ordered as a set as well, but the portion of the braised cabbage is a bit small and not really worth it in my opinion.
Seems like they also have a second outlet at Pasir Panjang which has some extra side dishes, would love to go and try one day!

Braved the long queue for Eat 3 Bowl's authentic Taiwanese fare and boy, it was definitely worth the wait!!👏 Super love the lu rou fan that had a good ratio of lean and fat meat, really reminiscent of what we had in Taiwan. Definitely opt for the set meal that comes with veg, soft-boiled egg and drink for a more balanced meal and to switch things up a little after too much lu rou fan hahahah🥬. The soft-boiled egg was a lovely surprise, as we much prefer the flowy yolk as compared to the usual hard-boiled eggs🥚. Also, for that complete Taiwanese experience, don't miss out on their milk tea~ (which was really good as well) 😂 Cravings satisfied☺️

Madly missing Taiwanese food and this is the closest we can get to eat to our favourite Braised Pork Rice 卤肉饭. 𝐄𝐚𝐭 𝟑 𝐁𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐬 呷三碗 is an authentic Taiwanese cafe that serves super authentic Taiwanese food. We came here about 8pm, thinking of skipping the dinner crowd but there were 6 pax in front of us. Lucky for us, we managed to order before their last order. Their 卤肉饭 is so good that we ordered another bowl! Meat is well braised, soft, thinly sliced and juicy. They don’t have a lot of fatty meat, so the ratio of meat is well balanced. The most authentic part is the braised sauce on the rice! It opens up our appetite so we couldn’t be satisfied with a single bowl.⠀
