Of course you probably don’t want to stay awake at night but you still can go for some ice cream after dinner here.
Carrot cake taste like the western carrot cake with lots of raisin bites on the sweet side. A perfect dessert to have after your dinner.
Death by Chocolate & Carota Carota ($13.90/each)
Both affogato desserts were served with a double shot of espresso. The signature Death by Chocolate came served beautifully in a martini glass filled with rich chocolatey sorbet, brownie chunks and streusals; and topped off with a dark chocolate disc. Mixed in the Grand Tazza, I felt disappointed as the bitter espresso masked much of the rich-sweetness of the chocolate.
Carota Carota was lighter in flavour in comparison. Think of of it as a deconstructed carrot cake with walnuts, cream cheese and a scoop of carrot cake ice cream. Pouring in the Mocharoma espresso resulted in a moist cake crumble dessert that was a tad bit overpowering. Thumbs up on the carrot cake ice cream though as it had a right balance of sweetness and cinnamon flavour running through it.

The Double Deck Focaccia sandwich is the best! It has beef, smoked chicken, cheese. All that good stuffs in one sandwich, and I totally love the focaccia replacing regular bread.
Pot of Honey, espresso ice cream with honey butter cream and vanilla sponge cake accompanied by double shot espresso. It is a shot of sweetness with aromatic espresso.

Back again! This time not for the bagels, but the ice cream. Not sure if I’m always missing the point, this is my 5th time here and i have yet to try the affogato. 😂
Ice creams here are not made in house. From local supplier but undisclosed by staff.
We got 2 spiced flavors - the carrot cake and the apple speculoos. Of which, both tasted pretty similar to some extent. They have some coffee based flavors, which I feel they are more commonly known for.
Carrot cake icecream+carrot cake+cream cheese+chopped walnuts+double shots of espresso: love this concoction! It satisfied all my cravings for coffee AND icecream at the same time. Price is steep but no additional service charge and it is a much quieter place to relax.
But since this is The Affogato Bar, I couldn't miss not going for it. I was super glad that I did. The espresso was bitter as expected but I could take it with the ice cream and it was soooo smooth. The carrot cake flavor ice cream was my second pleasant surprise 😘 Soooooo gooood 😍I was so happy that we made a trip to this newly open place since Mother's Day i.e. 13.05.17 👍🏻

Carrot cake ice cream & espresso! Loving their interesting flavors of ice-cream here! ❤️ Didn't quite enjoy the cake at the bottom of the affogato as it got pretty mushy & soggy after the espresso is in & prolly as the ice-cream melted but I can totally see myself coming back here for ice-cream & coffee 🐝✨
It was a lazy Friday morning before 12pm. Affogato *geddit, geddit?* have my breakfast after I chanced upon this aesthetically appealing quaint cafe. Tried a scoop of Carota Ice-cream ($4.50) and the Dirty Chai Latte ($5.50). The ice-cream was satisfying and a very interesting flavour (carrot cake). The latte was creamy but I would prefer it to have a stronger kick of spice since it is chai.....
