The ingredients β scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage, were decently executed. Mushrooms were a bit on the dry side. The best thing about this was the buttermilk waffles that were crispy and toasty, which gave off a very nice buttery flavour and aroma. There was already a hint of sweetness to the waffles, which paired well with the other savoury ingredients. A decent brunch option!

As someone who usually refrains from ordering breakfast food given how easy it is to replicate at home, I must say I was blown away by the breakfast platter here primarily due to the knockout waffles. The folks here must have their waffle recipe down pat as each mouthful offered an incredibly crisp exterior and fluffy centre. They really brought the word 'buttermilk' to mind with its full, milky flavour, and even reminded me of the 'liege waffles' i had in Belgium.
Although MacPherson is quite a distance from my home, I have found myself returning time and time again for the rustic garden-themed cafe and great cafe food. Heard they've just opened a branch in Pasir Panjang and can't wait to check it out!
Great interior for photo taking.
Highly recommend the Knots Waffle Brekkie, the portion is pretty big and filling.
The carbonara is creamy and delicious.
The Shroom and bacon pasta is nice as well.
Highly recommended to take some nice photos.
Cafe Latte ($4.60)
Chocolate Reese Cheesecake ($7.50)
This garden-themed cafe makes me feel like I'm out of the bustling SG with its harmonious mix of floral, food and earthy interior furnishing. Coupled with a good cup of joe and a slice for my sweet tooth, it was simply relaxing and comfortable.
Waffles ($7.50) and ice cream ($8 for 2 scoops) is always a good idea πβ£ β£This is a charcoal waffle with horlicks panda and earl grey ice cream. It was a nice combo because the horlicks panda was really thick and the earl grey was fragrant and lights. Horlicks panda was not a typo, itβs ice cream made of horlicks and hello panda toppings π
This cafe is beautifully decorated with plants and furniture. Decent cafe size with high ceilings. Coffee was great. Charcoal waffle on the other hand looked so blah and dry. They should add some fruits or at least maple syrup on the side to make it look more appetizing. It tasted good actually. Just lack of deco.
Big breakfast ainβt got nothing on this bad boy. A veritable mountain of toppings sits atop a fluffy albeit tad sweet buttermilk waffle. Scrambled eggs, tomato, mushrooms, bacon and a smoked beef sausage will satiate even the most hungry, if you can look past some things being underseasoned.
