First time visiting this outlet and also this restaurant after hearing so much about it.
I ordered Pan Seared Foie Gras with Beef Yakiniku and had my signature’s Tanuki rice swapped to a mixed mesclun salad base.
I think overall the food was just okay for me, it’s a little too much on the sauce for my liking as I do personally find it a little too sweet and salty. #healthierchoiceproblem

A generous portion of Foie gras with juicy beef slices and onsen Tamago on a bed of delicious rice. I finally know why many say the truffle smell/taste is non-existent as the sauce on the foie gras is a little too much a d too sweet. That's the only gripe.

Happy to hear that they opened one outlet near my office, so rushed there right away at lunch time. Tremendously enjoyed the Foie Gras Truffle Yakiniku, super yummy! 😍😋😋 Pan seared foie gras drenched in amazing black garlic brown butter, tender-melt-in-your-mouth US black angus short ribs drizzled with truffle soy and onsen egg in the middle. The truffle soy sauce is a bit too mild for me, perhaps not many people like strong tastes (in many things) as i do. But apart from that, it's an excellent mix of flavours and tastes all together. It is $19 for lunch (u.p. $23) and i took the lunch set additional $2 for miso soup, mixed green salad and green tea. Highly recommended! Any recommendations for similar donburi are most welcome.
Delicious! The foie gras and the beef goes well together, blending well with the onsen egg. Oh well, this dish mixes three ingredients I love in a tasty explosion, so I must recommend!
The pork belly was quite under seasoned and the salted egg sauce, a tad too sweet for my tastebuds. The egg, was perfect. I really should have sprung for the Foie gras truffle yakiniku instead - angus short ribs with foie gras and truffle soy.
The runny onsen egg and the succulent black angus beef are all tantalizing sides but special mention must be given to the signature mixed rice that is the star of the bowl. Incredibly tasty and you will never get enough of it. This is one scrumptious dish that you will never want to miss out.
