Our go to place whenever we crave Angelica Roast Duck. The other dish we like is Thai Lemon Fried Baby Kailan. But this price is getting more and more expensive every year. Maybe that’s why the place is no longer as crowded as before. I can’t even remember when was the last time I had to queue to get a table at meal times.
One of the better Fish Maw soups ive had, this gooey mix had enough umami and amazing variation in texture from the Small bits of seafood mixed in
Good as always, with a little crisp on the skin. Portion is a little Small for 4 though, each person gets only 3 or 4 pieces

The duck meat was juicy and tender and the skin crisp with the fat underneath well rendered. The sauce was flavorful but in my opinion, not as good as their "ten wonder herb" sauce so I'd recommend that option instead. A good dish
A must-have at Dian Xiao Er, the comforting aroma from the myriad of herbs and spices used on their signature roast duck, always makes my mouth water. Perfect with a steaming bowl of rice, the flavourful sauce is my favourite as it holds all the sweetness and pairs well with almost everything.
Although Dian Xiao Er has not reached the standard of "Best Chinese Restaurant in Singapore" that it claims, it will do for a normal meal. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg
