Just enough heat and can’t complain about the creaminess! The fish is fresh and flaky. Definitely a must try here!
Very interesting kebab with spinach, cheese and pomegranate. The only qualms was that it doesn’t have with any sauce? Was quite dry by itself. They serve papadam with a nice minty sauce complimentary for each table. The restaurant is quite hidden if you come from east coast road. You will have to go to level 2 (escalator in front of Fairprice ) then down again to level 1 to find it.
As mentioned in their menu and as quoted, Delhi 6 is a restaurant that offers a unique dining experience and flavours of the long forgotten cuisines of Undivided India’s North-West Frontier Province - which got me even more interested and the anticipation was high after ordering the Tandoori Murg Gulnar ($15/$27), Pukhtunwa Murg Biryani ($17) and a garlic naan. The Murg Gulnar is a meat dish of a chicken marinated in a blend of traditional and secret spices before it gets roasted in the tandoor oven. The biryani is the other dish that wowed us, as the spiced fluffy basmati rice might contain too much heat for some, which you can wash it down with some fresh lime soda, but the boneless chicken chunks inside is absolutely amazing. Tender-to-the-bite and well marinated with yogurt before it gets cooked together with the rice, the chicken to me gets the win over the rice in this instance. Overall, a very enjoyable meal that warrants another return soon.

One of my go to spots for solid Indian food at affordable prices. The chandi murgh tikka was tender chicken heaven, with hints of smoky garlic. One dish I could eat over and over again. The butter garlic naans were amazing too.
A traditional, serve with raita, long grain rice biryani.
Three tender chicken meat hiding inside the handi (colourful pot).
Dig in. Non spicy at all.
Dine in for two pieces papad and chutney on the side.
Listed $16. Plain water is available.
Yummy!
"There are many fishes in the water"- while the Michelin Starred Zaffron Kitchen just a 5 minutes walk away might be getting all the limelight for their Northern Indian spread, there are other great players in the same field. Our fish tikka-deeply infused with spices gave us a taste of India and the pricey yet delicious mutton briyani gives Zaffron a run for their money.
While the naans were faultless yet forgettable, pairing them with yoghurt gave us another authentic experience. I'd recommend the savoury, tangy and calcium enriched dip if you find yourself ordering Tikkas (meat variants without gravy).
