Sometimes, the simplest dishes surprise you with their brilliance. I tried the Roti Canai Kosong (RM 2) and Roti Canai Telur (RM 2.50) here, and they exceeded my expectations.

The prata was beautifully kneaded and cooked to a slight crisp perfection. What stole the show, though, was the curry. Despite its watery appearance, the sambal infused within thickened it into a delightful gravy, adding an incredible depth of flavour. A taste that's truly unforgettable.

Please, and I repeat, please avoid the Wanton Noodles (RM 8) here. Trust me, it's not worth it. Despite looking appetising in the picture, the taste was a letdown. The noodles had an odd flavour and although they were cooked to the right texture, they lacked seasoning and tasted rather bland despite the dark sauce. The char siew was disappointing too—it seemed more like regular pork coloured differently and was rather dry.

The accompanying soup was quite standard, with that distinct MSG taste, and only came with three tiny wantons. Overall, one of my worst experiences with wanton noodles.

我爱吃榴莲。马来西亚的榴莲无疑是一流中的一流没有之一。也不枉马来西亚之光的尊称。数年前，有幸吃到顶级的黑刺，至今在我心里仍是一个冠中之冠，极难超越。而猫山王，就是一个可以与其抗衡的存在。爱吃榴莲的人，应该多少能分辨猫山王的味道吧。那入口即化、富层次的香味、瞬间回甘的滋味,切实让爱它的人欲罢不能，吃到连回家的路都忘了。
如果，您也是“榴莲”忘返的人。这炸猫山王就请您三思，三思再三思了。面衣还上算低空飞过，但榴莲就不行了。没舍果气，更别说味道了。
三合一年糕。番薯和芋头夹着一片年糕。年糕有很浓郁黑糖的味道，但有一点油。慎选。以上属我个人意见，我94米高，谢谢。

很普通。捞面混于黑酱油，少许蚝油和些许香油。配上不怎么样的叉烧，再来一碗平平的汤和三颗云吞叫价rm8. 说实在的，它并不难吃。面的口感、咬劲都还ok。就不特别、 不惊艳，没惊喜，很平民的味道。如果只为果腹，这云吞面还可满足一些小鸟胃。我虽不是小鸟胃，但也就仅有一个胃，就别浪费位子了。以上属我个人意见，我94米高，谢谢。

Hands down one of the best Yee mian I’ve tasted. Granted that the price already makes this more than satisfactory, the soup was so full of flavour and they were pretty generous with the ingredients as well — from minced meat to fish cake. I really love my yee mian and all you gotta do is put it in a claypot, make it this affordable, and you know I’m gonna be coming back for this.

Seemingly a crowd favorite here, and that’s unsurprising when you have a stall set at the corner, with the lady just profusely stirring things up in her wok. With that, you get a plate of well executed char kway teow that has the right amount of wok hei aroma and flavour, generous amounts of crunchy bean sprouts, and lap cheong. Requested for more chilli for that added spicy kick and it was so worth it!
