Skin was seared to a perfect crisp but the meat remains awesomely succulent & tender. The sauce was made with peas, carrots, Swiss chard and foamed mussel juice.
Chicken Parmesan Linguine, an off-the-menu item which was a hit and miss. The toss pasta was rather tasteless even with tomato-based sauce. The baked chicken parmesan was nicely done with crumb coating crisps and melted cheese atop. A good meal in all, as the place lends itself to cozy chatting with my friend.
Back at the cosy American diner Communal for the third time this year, and my second time eating Chef Ryan's fried chicken. It's proclaimed by many for "Best Fried Chicken in Singapore". Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside. Simple yet spectacular!
A creamier rendition than most mac and cheese with perfectly cooked lobster chunks. This is surprisingly not cloying at all!
I really like the crisp edges of the beefy patty while still medium rare inside (and hello, Gruyere cheese)!
I'm not usually a fan of poached or any cooked form of pear, but this baked pistachio-studded pear slicked in caramel sauce redeems them all!
