Was sorely lacking in ingredients tonight

Hopefully it's cos at night they don't have as much soup, not cos of inflation

After the price increased by 1 buck, to 9.5nett now

The flavours carry, because I don't think their chili(too much heat relative to aroma) and the noodles (too much bite, too solid) are top tier

Yet the minced meat and super smoky lard and anchovies make this still very enjoyable

Even at 8pm on a weekday, they're packed

$8.50 for a bowl of dry chilli ban mian. Not the cheapest but super shiok and chilli is self service at the table so you can add the amount you want. My guy colleagues were saying the portion is a little small for them hence might be suitable to order 3 bowls for 2 guys to share. V popular still and expect a queue during weekdays lunch.

Went to Batu Rd Chilli Pan Mee 3 weeks ago and ordered their Chilli Pan Mee - Dry ($8.50), Deep Fried Dumplings ($5.50), and a Traditional White Coffee ($3.50)!๐Ÿ˜‡ Overall ratings 9/10! Ate a few times before and quality is still as good after a year of patronising๐Ÿ˜ Will definitely head back again!!

The flavour is really carried by the minced meat and the sauces, as well as the good pork lard.

The chili has a strong raw heat. GO EASY ON THE CHILI, otherwise you're gg to sweat almost immediately.

But ofc everything works well enough tgt, it's a very satisfying bowl

Love the flavours of this chilli pan Mee when everything especially the runny egg is all deliciously mixed together. The best part is when you add any amount of chilli you want, you can adjust how spicy you want it to be! A satisfying meal - though pricey for pan mee.
