Other than fresh fruit cakes, I was really surprised that Châteraisé also offered this Caramel Pudding Cake, made with layers of sponge cake and cream, with a layer of egg pudding and a beautiful coating of caramel on top.
Enough said about their cream cakes which was light yet decadent. What was beautiful about this cake was the perfect notes of mild bitterness from the caramel layer. Fancy an egg pudding in the form of a cake? This might be the answer, and it was quite affordable as well!
Fluffy strawberry cake with lots of cream. There’s also strawberry bites in between and strawberries on the top.

so good tbh and really enjoy the bitterness for dark chocolate layer but cream for eclair got milk chocolate so slightly milky and not that sweet.

Seems like the HOURAKU series made a comeback to the shelves of Châteraisé!
The Cheddar & Edam Bouchee had very small dices of Cheddar and Edam Cheese to bring some savoury contrast to the sweet cream filling. Priced at S$2.30 per piece, I thought the crusty texture of the Bouchee was something unique, but I would still prefer the sweetness of red beans in their Dorayaki, especially when their prices were certainly comparable.
