[CLOSED] Central Thai Kitchen (City Square Mall)

Came here with my friend for dinner.

Prawn Omelette ($8.80). Egg and prawns. Omelette was not bad. Edges were crispy but could use more flavour.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Rice ($8.80). Taste similar to what you get from a Zi Char stall. Not bad, however the rice was quite hard.

Basil Chicken Rice ($8.80). Basil chicken seemed to lack the taste of fish sauce and is quite different from what is served at other places so I didn't really like it. Rice again, quite hard.

Kailan with Oyster Sauce ($8.80). Kailan was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My favourite dish out of all that we tried.

Vegetable Glass Noodle Soup ($8.80). Super disappointed with this soup. My friend can't take spicy so this was the only soup without the chilli icon next to it, hence we ordered this soup. We ordered GLASS NOODLE soup but what arrived at our table was Vegetable Tom Yum Soup. Told the waiter and they told us the soup is the same base and that they'll just add the glass noodle. So fine, we said ok. When the soup came back my friend said it seemed like they added more red chilli to it. So I place them into my bowl since I'm good with heat. However even then when my friend drank a sip, it was too spicy for her. This was even after the waitress who took out order also keyed in less spicy for the soup...

Overall some hits and lots of misses. Won't be back...
