Bowl Chap (Galaxis)

Stewed Beef slice, onions, rice, house made marinate and sauce, shibazuke, onsen egg, spring onions.

The Gyudon here is rather popular, it was initially on the menu for 2 months, but has now become been extended till further notice.

Overflow with spring onions and topped with an onsen egg. U have to really stirred the egg into the entire dish to really feel the shiokness of this gyudon. I added an additional onsen egg as I liked my gyudon extra eggy.

The beef slices were tender and was well marinated, was not dry whatsoever.

The intoxicating aroma of lemongrass and the juicy chicken made the 𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 ($12.90) an excellent dish.

All bowls come with cherry tomatoes, edamame and an onsen egg. They were pretty hearty but I felt the pricing was too steep.

The last time I tried Bowl Chap, it was still a stall in a hawker centre. Now an eatery in a commercial building, the dining area is more comfortable and the prices, naturally, are higher.

The 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 ($16.90) featured beautifully charred salmon which I loved, but I felt the sambal mayo wasn’t pronounced enough.

One of the most generous bowls of gyudons I've had in a long while. It's pretty good too. There's really no need for extra cheese, but i was feeling extra

Always love the rice bowls here! Loaded with meat/vegetables and always very tasty! This is one of the newer offerings and was very delicious too! Hope they will keep innovating to offer more interesting flavours ☺️

This was really enjoyable with relatively generous servings. However felt it was a bit on a pricy side.
