Hup Chong Yong Tau Foo (Block 83)

With pumpkin yam rice. Hup Chong is good, but I still don't think it's above other good ytf. I liked their fried and soup dumplings. It's fair to say they're known for their fried stuff. That taro ball was decent, but its salted egg filling was tasteless.

My favourite place for fleshly made juicy meatballs, wantons and meat rolls.
The wantons which are bigger in size than meatballs, are stuffed to the max with minced meat. Too big to be eaten in a mouthful.

No wonder there is always queue especially when these deep fried items are brought out.

I have even seen one ah pei who had just a bowl full of only the meatballs.

Recommend sticking to the sweet sauce. We had to douse the spiciness with ice cream and waffles after. Lol. Quality of the offerings were good though. Minimum 6 pieces, I got 7 pieces for $4.10.
