Patronised the market on a Saturday morning when it was bustling with queues at multiple famous stalls, but there did not seem to be a queue for this. But don’t be tricked!! There’s a long hidden queue because they distribute buzzers, and this bowl of noodles necessitates at least a 20 minutes wait. And the wait is ultimately worth it with this classic bowl of fishball + minced meat noodles, that was so saucy, full of flavour, with noodles perfectly coated with chilli. While it looks and perhaps even tastes simple to some, I thought it was a well executed traditional flavour.

White Carrot Cake with lots of eggs. Portion size is good. Firm texture carrot cake, not mushy, not too oily either.

Yummy Fried Black Carrot Cake (S$3) with lots of egg. Portion size is good. Firm texture carrot cake, not mushy, nor overly sweet for the black. It's also not as oily as other fried carrot cake I have eaten before. Overall its not bad.

This is a much forgotten hawker centre in this neighbourhood, consider the small scale of size comparing to the rest.
Among the hawker centre, Xiang Ji Chicken Rice is one of the stalls that attract long queue for their affordable chicken rice.
You could get a decent plate of chicken rice for only $2.50. If you prefer a larger portion, go for the $3.
Nothing too extraordinary for their chicken rice but the meat definitely soft, smooth and delicious
One of my favourite meechiangkueh places! The pancake is super soft and chewy, and generous amounts of peanut given! Best eaten warm!
Peanut mian jian kueh added extra peanut butter sauce 🥜
$1.20
So warm, yummy and generous with the filling and sauce!!
