Silly me thot this set was only for plain croissant. No, you can choose from any pastry available in the display counter. I got the almond croissant this time, and upsized my flat white for extra $1. Croissant was very good. Buttery and flaky, with a generous amt of almond paste filling inside. With an Ala carte order, this would cost $4, so this deal was a steal. Ask for it to be made hot. Even yummier.
This cheesecake had a really thick gooey texture. Cheese had a slight salty taste which was fortunately covered up by the blueberry jam on top. The blueberry was good, not sweet and didn’t taste like cough syrup. I would prefer a thicker and crunchier biscuit base. This one was thin, soft, and almost non existent taste wise.
Flat White was strong and hot today 👍🏻
Got the coffee set again with upsized flat white. This cake was wonderfully moist and chock full of nuts. Not just walnuts, there were pecans inside too. And chunky pcs of almonds on the side of the cake. Besides helping to cut down on the sweetness, they made me feel healthy. I don’t see this cake often, so if you see it, grab it.
The coffee set was actually $8.80++, but I upsized the coffee for an extra dollar. Coffee set paired any coffee with any cake or tart. Quite a good bargain, since most of the cakes were abt $6. Today’s Flat White was too strong and extremely bitter. Relatively quiet cafe that was a great place to chill and relax.
This was part of the coffee set. The cake was chocolatey and not too sweet. Quite a large slice.
