Tze char style Thai food, can't really taste the tom yum but still, nice fried rice. Comes with a small bowl of complimentary clear tom yum soup.
Delicious fried rice reminiscent of my JC days. The auntie takes order by batch when there's a crowd. There's no orderly queue because auntie will just ask everyone what they want and proceed to dish them out accordingly. As they only sell a few dishes, this is one of the fastest stalls here.
Only one store selling this. Prefer Ya kun's toast. The toast here isn't that crispy and the kaya is so-so. Overall quite tasteless
*** previously I thought there was only one stall selling this, for this post it's the one between the fish ball noodles and ban mian stall. Prefer the other one that's between Kueh-kueh and soups.
$3.50 for 3. Omg don't buy this, the green layer is ok, could be more flavorful but it's nice. The glutinous rice layer has almost no flavor and tastes just like plain glutinous rice. Not sure if it's just this batch or it's the usual taste.
$2.50 for 6 pcs (ate 1 already :P). Bought this from the food fair stall at Tiong Bahru Plaza. It's nice, the gula melaka bursts upon biting into it with fragrant pandan smell. Wished the skin was thinner but I would buy this again.
$2.50, laksa without cockles. Satisfying meal
$3. One of the stalls here with a constant queue.
$2.50 portion, I like to have mine with chili at the side. Chili is a tad too salty but the carrot cake is nice
