The mutton soup is nice. Gets a bit salty after a while, recommended for sharing.
Ordered beef burger as I think the patty will be thicker š The fries are a tad salty but crispy. Overall, it's nice.
Chanced upon this coffeeshop while going to one of the sanitary fitting shops at block 1016. The entire coffeeshop sells halal food and is pretty much like a restaurant. The menu will be brought to you and they sell a wide variety of food, from tze char style dishes to Western food and Nasi Penyet to Tulang Soup. Prices range from $4-ish to $20+.
The spaghetti is yummy š. It's served super fast, like within 5 minutes of ordering or something like that.
This is nice! It has bits of shredded coconut, green chendol thing and gula Melaka. It smells really good and is quite nice. It's more of a try once novelty thing though. Would have been better if it wasn't so sweet. I do like sweet stuff but this is quite overwhelming. The vanilla ice cream is already sweet and the gula Melaka only adds to the sweetness. If you want to try this, share it among 2-3 people.
**Sorry, couldn't change the image, just realized the packaging is not any different from the usual McFlurry cups.
Bought this at the McDonalds near Yuan Ching Super Bowl. There wasn't much queue, at 12pm, bought it within 15 minutes. This burger tastes surprisingly good for a speciality burger. Nice sambal sauce, it's not that spicy and there could have been more sauce. This is more like a buy and try one time novelty thing. If I really want Nasi Lemak, I can go to Power Nasi Lemak at Boon Lay market and quite a bit of ingredients at $6.
This stall has good business! This market only has nice white carrot cake and it's from this stall. Freshly cooked upon ordering. $2.50/$3/$5. This is the $2.50 portion, take away. Like mine fried non-spicy but with chili at the side. Before ordering, do ask how long is the waiting time. Today is 5 minutes, that's super short. Sometimes it's 15-20 mins and during weekend mornings it can be as long as 40 mins... closed on a weekday morning, forgot which day, sorry.
This is the mixed food stall beside "soups". They sell bee hoon and carrot cake only in the morning, before 10am or so. Sometimes it gets sold out pretty fast. The auntie and uncle here are very friendly. Love their bee hoon + curry gravy, I asked for extra of the latter. It's $3.50 + $1 (refundable) for the tray
One of my favorite breakfast food around here. There's choice of chicken, char siew or sio ba, this is still my favorite. Although it may sound weird lol but char siew goes well with their porridge. Only available in the morning, come before 10am. 20 cents more for takeaway unless you bring your own container.
Previously I thought there was only one stall (beside ban mian) selling this and it was not very nice. After a while I found another beverage shop selling this. It's between Kueh-Kueh and Soups. This is sooooooooo much nicer. Love the butter and kaya and the charred toast. Sometimes they cut it triangle shape, sometimes rectangular lol. I've been buying my toast from here since. Toast only is $1.20 if I'm not wrong.
Bought this from the mixed rice shop (beside the tray return station) next to the shop selling soups. It's $3, one of the cheaper food around here. It's nice though you wouldn't want to travel down for it. Choice of black or white carrot cake, only sold in the morning. You'll need to pay $4 for it, when you return the tray, you'll get back $1.
Finally back here after sometime. Love that fried meatball thingy. Quite filling and worth it.
Really friendly and nice lady. All the kuehs and stuff are handmade. This stall is on the side section on the 3rd floor (lift side). Love to eat this warm. I find the taste similar to the Chee Cheong fun at 500+ jurong west market but it's currently closed for renovation.
