How often do you get to see this in Singapore nowadays? It is slowly becoming a lost trade and we must preserve its heritage now for the future generations. If you happen to be around the Bedok vicinity, do drop by the Bedok North 216 market to have a try at this old school snack.
It's as good as promised! And it's really crowded here today! Must have something to do with the spread in the newspaper.
Started off with Salted Egg Fries & Beef Tataki π Ending off the week w good food & good company βΊοΈ
I failed at trying to make conversation with the ownerπ ; so let the picture do the talking instead :)
Good to look at but i feel several lacking in the tiramisu, cream and cocoa powder was flat, coffee based fingers were oddly overly sweet. Shall probably give their fruit rolls a try next try since its near my place.
Mango Sticky Rice ($6.50). Mango and coconut ice cream paired with coconut sticky rice.
Cosy up to a heartwarming plate of al dente spaghetti in a rich carbonara sauce with bacon, topped with a perfectly poached egg with a runny center! π
Bananas cooked in caramel sauce, served with blueberries and garnished with toasted almond nibs. I preferred this to Hoshino. Anyway, a little bird π₯ told me that #miammiamsg will be introducing a special cider in December to celebrate the festive season!
Not overly sweet and with a lovely maltiness, the crumble piled on top gave the whole tart a captivating crunch. I like this especially with a glass of iced chocolate.
Tasty and cute too :)
Way better than ice kachang
