The grilled pork was definitely the highlight of my lunch set. I especially liked how the caramelised asparagus accentuated the pork. The mushrooms and onions (hidden under the pork) was also a lovely find.
Part of their $45 3 course set lunch, these cones were a wonderful starter. I especially loved how delightfully sweet the crisp cones were and it complemented the tuna tartare nicely. Addictive!
Still one of the best tarts in town with that lovely buttery tart shells and fresh ingredients especially those raspberries! This hidden gem is also perfect for that afternoon tea with your girlfriends.
Why you so light and fluffy! This was really reminiscent of A Happy Pancake which I tried in Osaka. Best way to enjoy these is to slather the pancakes with the sweet cream.
Be prepared to wait almost an hour for these fluffy pancakes though! The seatings are limited and it still takes some time for the pancakes to be ready. Hurry go before they close on 20th October!
That iconic bowl - it’s one of the stalls that you have to try when you are at Beauty World Centre. The chilli and soup was power packed! Although yummy, I think I should have gone for the ban mian instead to feel fuller! 😅
Get your 1 for 1 coffees with #burpplebeyond! The hojicha was not bad but do shake the bottle well before drinking as there were hidden bits of hojicha powder floating around!
1 for 1 lunch set thanks to #burpplebeyond. This tori gobo truffle don was super good! It came with a very generous serving of chicken and lightly seasoned with truffle soya sauce. Don’t forget to mix it together with that onsen egg!
I can see why people buy the donuts by the boxes here. They were so soft and fluffy! My favourite has to be the cream cheese and the chocolate one so far. Coffee was fantastic too!
The matcha used here is more rich and intense but it is balanced out nicely with the home made milk ice cream and Speculoos crumbles. We are told that even the biscuit is home made here and I like how they add such homely touches to this yummy dessert :)
My second favourite dish here - the tagliatelle seasoned with bacon cherry sauce was so soft and yummy without being overpoweringly ‘jelat’. The fresh cherry tomatoes and watercress also gave the dish a nice crunch!
A combination of sous vide salmon, Kinmemai brown rice, rice crackers and bacon dashi green tea, this dish will definitely hit the right spot if you’re looking for something light and comforting.
This is definitely my favourite dish here! Check out that hefty Japanese tamago styled eggs sandwiched between that toast. It might seem like a simple dish but the tinges of konbu mayo and pear sauce elevated it all.
