Soft bread topped with a slightly crusty, buttery, sugary layer. The bread itself leaned plain, relying on the top for flavour. The buttery sweetness carried it through, making it simple but decent.
Lightly toasted bread with a golden brown surface, filled with smashed eggs, ham, and cheese. This is one of my favourite types of bread to spot in a bakery. The filling was generous, but the outer could have been crisper to give that sinful crunch I usually look forward to. Still, it was tastisfying enough.

Truffle Oil Pasta with New Zealand Ribeye ($22.90)
Al dente spaghetti infused with fragrant truffle oil, served with succulent ribeye steak topped with caviar and sea salt. I ordered this without reading the description, just felt it sounded good, and it turned out even better than expected. The caviar was a surprise, those black tiny roes added a delicate umami burst. The noodles were slippery smooth, best enjoyed by twisting against the spoon before slurping. Flavours came together like little umami bombs: truffle aroma, savouriness, a touch of spice, thinly sliced mushrooms, and hints of herbs syncing beautifully on the palate. I finished the pasta in no time, leaving no sauce behind.
The ribeye was handled with care, doneness between medium and medium‑rare. Salt and pepper were sprinkled for taste, and the texture was chewy and juicy, though some edges leaned dry. Smearing pasta sauce over the steak added extra flavour and juiciness. For the price, the quality was impressive and worth it.

Ah… so comforting. A spicy, thick curry served piping hot in a claypot with a huge chicken drumstick, thigh, and a whole potato. The curry had a good ratio of spice base that made it thick and savoury, with curry leaves adding fragrance and chilli padi giving extra heat. The chicken was soft, tender, and easy to debone, while the potato had a firm bite outside but was soft inside.
What stood out was the generous amount of curry sauce, making it easy to pair with rice without worrying about running out. The balance of spice and creaminess gave the dish a homely feel, hearty yet tastisfying. It is one of those bowls that warms you up instantly.
I also recommend trying their assam fish curry, which offers a tangy alternative to the richness of the chicken curry.

Fluffy long grain rice served with chicken and mutton kebab, plus vegetables. Mediterranean rice is usually flavourful and aromatic, but here the taste was more subtle and soft. At least the texture was light, fluffy, and tender chewy. Perhaps it was kept mild to let the kebabs shine. Eating the rice together with the kebabs did improve the flavour, though I still felt it could be stronger.
The mutton kebab was thinly sliced, flavourful, mildly gamey, and chewy. The chicken kebab was also thinly sliced, tender, with a mild flavour but slightly dry. Between the two, I preferred the mutton kebab as it carried more character and bite. Both portions could have been more generous, as it was not quite enough to satisfy. Thankfully, the sauce helped to lift the overall taste.
