But like Misato, there are looking for a new place to set up once again. I have only walked by Food Republic @ 313 a number of times that can be counted on one hand. I read Angus Beef Bolognese, so I had to order it. Though looking the least appetizing, it's quite good and I wanted to try other western offerings like Chicken Chop. Looks like I have to wait for now.

Okay, we are suckers for food fad. Raclette cheese on a hot dog? Maybe, but not me. I prefer mine Coney Dog style, something I prefer since the days of A&W Singapore, and then Superdog (Vivo and 313), and sometimes Mos but eww.

The hot dog is nice, the croquette balls are nice. The drink? Can you not fill it up with 80% ice? 😤 Maybe 50-50?

Was going to gamble getting the chili cheese tater tots but they couldn't sell it cos of lack of ingredients. The kind staff/owners said a good timing would be after Tuesdays, when stocks come in.
Just wanted to try the sandwiches as fresh as I can before I start to takeaway orders in the future. With Amoy Street Food Centre just a stone throw away, you will be spoiled for choices.

I patronised a little late, so they no longer serve the beef cutlet, so I make do with the safer choice of pork cutlet.
Truth be told, there is hardly any meat in the rice. At least the rice is not tomato based. I've always struggled with the unique combination of tomato rice, egg and then the demi glace or curry sauce. 😖

Not all Han's serve the same menu. The fried rice at NTF Hospital serves turkey bacon while the one at JEM serves pork bacon.
These one has beef fried rice and crispy noodles so of course we haveto try them. As per my earlier post on good wok hei fried rice, this one fares just as good with tender beef strips.

Boulangerie Asanoya caught my attention during Isetan Shaw supermarket renovation.
I managed to order the tomato meatball set finally and got my mushroom soup 😣 it's a light meal costing close to $10 but ever worth it.
They had a 1-for-1 promotion for all bread that ended in June but I reckon it will be back.

Not to be confused with Milk & Honey Gelato, this dessert palour at Hometeam NS serves ice cream, drinks, some savoury dishes and donut waffles.

Berry Malt is a scoop of malted ice cream resting on a mini donut, topped with flaky pastry and strawberry pieces. It works.

Delving into Keisuke-san's (7th?) concept, I wondered if Kani King has what it takes.
As usual, rich broth, everything else normal, to see to potency of their hours long boiled crab and chicken based soup.
I was really hungry by then because my brother made me wait for more than an hour. So naturally, free flow sides... I noticed a side I haven't seen in other concepts before, gomashio cabbage. It's a good break from the beansprouts and eggs.

I still prefer Lobster King 😣

I had the toast set, which comes with two pieces of toast (actually one, cut into halves), my pick of matcha jam, sausage, bacon, potato salad and an ajitama. Toast comes either in French Toast style, or with your choice of jam from a fine range of flavours.

The toast is good, even on its own. The potato salad was surprisingly delicious, Japanese style potato salad can't go wrong. The egg, served chilled, goes well with anything because eggs. I was hoping it to not be like the ones found in ramen, and I was glad. The light shoyu broth and bonito flakes made it possible to eat it on its own.
