Hotpot itself have a variety of vege and mushrooms 👍 but the veggies could be fresher. Some of the edges of the veggies were abit blackened.
3 varieties of soup bases available, herbal, miso and laksa. Herbal taste is there but might be bland to some. Miso has a stronger flavour.

Although not on the menu, could also change the brown rice to white rice, but wld not recommend the white rice as it was semi under cooked.

Portion on the smaller side and might only be worth it at the one for one price i got this for on 4 Apr.

Ambience is quite nice, a little cosy, not packed on a day before weekends but was greeted with a smoke smell upon entering. Is it they allow smoking in Izakayas?

Featured here are the egg, matcha red bean, cheese and choc lava. Most popular version is said to be the egg baguette, perhaps because it is least sweet

The peanut is really soft, as if i'm eating porridge. Very special

With nice decor. Even tho the location seems out of the way, it was pretty crowded for lunch. Students get to enjoy #studentdiscounts here as well. #throwback to the Farewell Lunch for @this_is_pris_ and @natalyaalison. So sad so many ppl leave 😭

Himawari has very good thick cut sashimi, with lunch sets like the above on weekdays and also a la carte buffet on weekdays/weekends which I heard is good.

Smoked salmon was tasty. Masala Cauliflower was special. Coq Au Vin has strong alcohol taste tt soaked even the mushrooms. Prefer mac & cheese elsewhere.

Overall quite nice with fish meat inside!

Earl Grey Longan Dessert was special with hints of Earl Grey. But not worth the price

The staff also seemed very much wanting to go home, washing up stuff and the lady ignored my many attempts to catch her attention😕. Salmon and rice were quite dry and hard, and quite tasteless as well. But might be because they were closing. Bull Run Soba was quite nice. The sauce made the soba look yucky but for someone who dont typically like soba, it tasted quite good! The chicken was well marinated as well. Fren said portion wise they seem to be more generous when they are closing..which means to say the portion is likely not v filling for lunch.
