#TruffleFries was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. #Rosti was crispy too! With cheese inside and 2 poached eggs by the side. But disappointingly the poached eggs were cold and tasteless.π #UnagiPizza had a fishy taste. #ChilliCrabPizza was interesting.
This place is pretty crowded on weekends for brunch/lunch. A very kids friendly place with even a play area for kids.
The dry noodles are not served with soup on the side, but one can buy a bowl of soup. The spicy wanton noodles was a bit too dry but there are condiments one can add to make it less dry. Their dumplings are surprisingly good. Iberico pork was flavourful too. The chicken wings were well marinated with chinese wine on top of a braised taste.
Portion of noodles seems to be bigger for the soup version as compared to the dry version but tt could be because the noodle expanded in the soup. Pretty filling for soup version.
The saltiness did not match well with the chocolate which one would expect to be sweet. This rendition of the molten chocolate filled #chocolatepie might have tried to be a dark choc version but it wasn't rich and bitter enough.
On the flip side, tt in fact makes it not jelat. One can easily finish the entire pie alone.
Porcini Risotto had a lot of mushroomsπ the baked cheese topping the dish was quite fragrant. Only reason why it is only π is because it wasn't salty enough. Crabmeat Spaghetti Aglio Olio had significant amount of crabmeatπ but the aglio olio itself was not wow, slightly bland.. Went there for lunch and the inside was pretty empty. This place serves a lot of alcohol, more than the number of mains/sides. I guess it might be more crowded at night.
Service was rather attentiveπ
ιιΎθ tastes like a cross breed between chives and spring onions. Homemade Tofu was good but the green vege was still a tad raw and the sea cucumber taste was still a bit strong if you ate it. The small corn and squid in the Hor Fun were a bit fishy but the Hor Fun itself was sufficiently flavourful. Fried Rice was a tad tasteless and the rice was a bit too hard. Don't like Yu Sheng in general, but this one was still okay. The food not bad, although have to issue MSG alert.
As with #mazesoba, it tends to get a bit jelat towards the end. But this is still less jelat than the one I tried at chinatown point.
Environment wise, this is a cozy little restaurant located on Level 1 of Park Hotel that has a mish mash of different shops on its 1st level which gives a messy impression.
If you spend above a certain amount, might be able to claim for free parking at their Customer Service Counter.
Unfortunately I can't change the ice cream flavour eitherπ
π This is the soft kind of unagi, not the crispy kind found at Man Man or Uya.
This is a cozy little restaurant that accepts reservations available on the #entertainerappsg which means that you can get 1 for 1 mains #promosg if you have entertainer.
Beef Don not featured in photo was π. Only downside to this adorable unagi don was that the sauce was a little bit too generous.. I was pretty thirsty after having this.
Waffle was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Pulled pork was pretty tasty too. Chrysanthemum ice cream was special, really got the chrysanthemum taste. The wings were tender and the sauce was good. Tatter tots wasnt very special, might have been store bought and heated.
The decoration at wild blooms largely consists of dried flowers, with seats on the second floor. As CNY is around the corner, they have some special menu items. With Valentine's day arriving soon after CNY, they are already prepared with Valentine's day decor.
#mileslife is applicable at this place. Other than tt, they seem to only accept nets or cash payment.
Happy to finally meetup with this group of friends I've got to know through #huntthemouse (which had really bad clue design). Now on to #huntthehamster
The soup had cabbage inside but I prefer the cabbage soup frm the chicken rice stall at depot heights.
No sighting of filming in action this time round although we did spot an empty mediacorp van that was preparing to drive away.
Apparently this had won many awards, but I can't fathom why π€ Taste mediocre, portion small. Queue is long mainly cos they were pretty slow.
Apparently all the stalls in Telok Blangah Food Centre have a qr code for payment (it's stuck on the wall of each stall) but when i tried to pay using tt for this meal, the aunty just told me to pay in cash cos they dunno how to use the virtual payment system. Guess it'll take a long time before sg becomes a cashless society..
