The rich chicken broth was comforting especially for a cold rainy night. Was bubbling on serving hence the second photo to show the chicken - our main star in this dish!

Glutinous rice that was stuffed within the chicken created a congee-like texture. Had a bite out of the baby Korean ginseng - surprisingly, tasted like sweet potato :)

Recommended for cold nights if you are craving some rich chicken broth

Despite having eaten Korean cuisine several times, I am ashamed to say that this is my first ever kimchi pajeon.

The bright red pancake from the kimchi and visible cabbage amidst the flour was visually enticing. Have to say it’s an acquired taste however, not everyone might enjoy the sour taste that the pancakes have - from the kimchi. I was a fan of its crispy sides of each bite - maybe I would give the chives and the spring onion ones a go next!

Enjoyed this dish! Sweet potato glass noodles went well with the sauce and mushrooms :) must-try if you are there, although a tad on the pricy side as I thought it was usually a side dish.

An array of mixed banchan from my favourite Korean family restaurant! :) my favourite is the pickled kimchi cucumber with its wonderful refreshing taste. Appreciate how they will oblige with refilling of the sides of you request for them and the 2 mini yakult-ish probiotic drink they provided :)

Felt that the chicken filling wasn’t that appetising. Couldn’t really make out the chunks of chicken and might have been drowned out by the sauce.
Bread felt soggy too..

Lazy Sunday brunch :) the entertainer app had 1-for-1 mains from 11am onwards - so it was a great bargain ;)

Enjoyed how the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon came together nicely. The capers also added a briny taste to the dish. The bagel was soft on the inside (spread with some cream cheese, surprise!) with the sesame crust very much intact.

Busy Saturday night for this restaurant.
I thought the fried rice was simple but definitely not as good as those in Chinese restaurants. Does lack a bit of ‘wok hei’ compared to the tze char stalls in the kopitiams.

A vegetarian burger at the fatboys. A healthier option compared to the meat options available.

Portobello mushroom that tasted more braised than grilled. :( didn’t really enjoy it as i felt that the smoked chipotle sauce drowned the entire bun.

I guess it was expected as Fatboys isn’t known for its vegetarian options :/

A combination platter of fried finger foods from the pasta joint.

Discounted price of 4.90 with OCBC card :)
Simple dish of aglio olio with olive oil and the nice blend of chilli flakes, garlic and basil in a Heartland Mall.

One of the better pizzas out there!
Crust was just right - thin but crispy not oily or overtly buttery. The pasta sauce was perfect and toppings were aplenty.

Would definitely return again for this :)
