Great for a meal with big groups Came by with a group of friends and got to use 3 deals on Burpple which made this meal so worth! The food itself is pretty good - we got the Caesar Salad ($12) and Sweet Potato Fries ($12) to start and both of them were so delicious and highly addictive, really recommend! For pasta, we chose the Bacon Gnocchi ($24) and Seafood Aglio Olio ($24). Personally, I did not prefer the doughiness of the gnocchi but to each their own right? Aglio olio was decent, not outstanding, but I did appreciate the freshness and plumpness of the shrimp and squid. As for the pizza, we had the Hawaiian ($23) and Four Cheese ($23). Both were alright, couldn't quite remember how they tasted after but I'm not really a fan of pizza so don't take my word for it. Overall, with Burpple, this made for a value-for-money meal!

The 2 dishes you must order! [ORCHARD, SINGAPORE] These photos really don't do justice to how much we loved both dishes we ordered! I have had @picolino.sg a few times and these 2 dishes really don't go wrong. Cacio E Pepe ($19) is a simple pasta dish that is hard to do very well, but Picolino nailed it with their rendition. The Malfade pasta was the right choice, catching cheese and pepper well at every grove. It was al dente and we loved the chewy texture! The cheese pepper sauce itself was GLORIOUS. It was flavourful but not too intense, and the cheese was the right amount as it wasn't too cloying. The fried egg was a nice touch, with gooey yolk to add extra richness. I also finally tried the Picolino's Burrata Pizza ($28) and I was ADDICTED. The pesto sauce was really garlicky and the tomato sauce further accentuated the fresh flavour from this pizza. The crust at the bottom was surprisingly crispy, although it seemed soaked with all the sauces. The cherry on top is the burrata cheese, which added extra richness! After dining at picolino a couple of times, I feel like their dishes can be a big hit or a miss sometimes, but these 2 dishes will definitely make your belly happy. Can't wait to be back to eat these 2 again 🤣

Good and Authentic Vietnamese Food Beef Pho Chicken Pho One of the most authentic Vietnamese food in Singapore. The broth was flavourful and portion was generous! Will definitely return again even without the deal!

Spicy Beef Noodles This is a very homely eatery and may not boast much with their decor, but their food speak for them! This was pretty good, tender beef. Pretty heavy handed with the chilli. We ordered the beef pho (chicken was sold out on Sunday around 1pm), bittergourd egg the banh cuon too! Beef pho was good. Good soup base, and tender beef too! Bittergourd egg wasn't that bitter, which meant that it was cleaned well. It also didnt come swimming in sauce so not salty at all, yay! Banh cuon was something a little different from the usual. There was mince pork wrapped in the filling, accompanied by chicken luncheon meat on the side and topped with crispy fried onions. There was a generous amount of veg by the side and a small bowl of dipping sauce. Worth a try! Given the weekend lunch crowd, staff were busy but very courteous and accommodating. Under the Radar Vietnamese Joint! Was craving for Vietnamese food and decided to scroll through Burpple Beyond for some money saving options. Came across 1-for-1 mains at Viet MaMa, which was reviewed quite positively, so that's where we went for dinner! The food here was excellent I must say! Both of our mains - Rice Vermicelli w/ Grilled Pork & Spring Roll and Beef Pho were finely executed! But the star of the night was the extra side dish we ordered - the Viet Crispy Mini Pancake. So crispy and delicious, it reminded us of a Vietnamese version of vadai. We both highly recommend ordering this! All in all, this under the radar Viet place is definitely worth checking out!

Lamb Shank so much goodness packed into 1 plate. the meat slid off the bone effortlessly and was super succulent. mixed with its special spice and herbs sauce which was so unique and delectable. the blue pea rice was also very tasty and fragrant. finished the last bite wanting for more

Bulgogi duck rice 22++ PSA it really is exactly where they say it is. On top of Prata restaurant is a corner shop, and this is directly beside it. The exterior is like any other shop so look carefully. Unit number 02-208? I think Absolutely delicious as well. Not very bulgogi tbh but doesn't rlly matter. It's got a slightly crisp, skin that was a bit hard as well, but not unpleasantly. The meat was tender and thickly sliced, and most importantly it's super flavourful from aging. Absolutely awe-inspiring stuff and a must try

Big slab bossam don 18++(used BB) PSA During lunch there's only lunch bowls, no ala cart This was delicious. Kimchi was solid, but the pork belly. Wow. It's tender with just a little bite, super fatty but not greasy. Chef chose to slow roast it so it's not just super soft, and the espresso miso glaze, despite the fancy name, made for a simple and effective sweet savoury glaze. Chef has been trained in both Jap and French cuisine, as well as stints at Michelin establishments. A lot of young chefs come out from Michelin places to set up their own restaurants lately but I feel like many don't live up to the hype. But this chef, from his food it's clear he knows what he's doing. Really excited for this place, except the location is too hidden lol

Raw Scallop Carpccio Served on a cold plate, the texture and taste is sooooo good. With a bit of truffle on top, the scallop just melts in your mouth. A must try!!!

Sashimi With Burpple Beyond Deal for 1-for-1 sashimi, we had salmon and swordfish sashimi that were served on ice with shredded daikon radish. The slices were fresh and relatively thick for a satisfying mouthfeel.

Chicken Karaage Donburi For lunch, it offers a menu of donburis and cutlets starting from $10. Each main comes with a side of salad, miso soup and rice. The Chicken Karaage Don has bite-sized chicken pieces on top of hot Japanese rice. Each chicken piece was crispy, tender, juicy and flavourfully marinated.

Truffle Salad $24 Nice pizza place in the middle of boat quay. They have nice ingredients with a great chef to make the beat of it The salad was chefs recommendation with pesto base, truffle shavings and burrata on top. The portion size was nice and could easily be shared between 2. The place is small and private and in my humble opinion, a little overpriced for what it is. Still worth a visit once for the cute chef family with 2 daughters helping dad in the kitchen 3.5 stars for me

Pizza with amazing crust, great squid ink pasta too Tried the mushroom pizza and squid ink pasta. The crust on the pizza was super crunchy and toasty, really stole the show. Squid ink pasta was delicious too - with fresh seafood! also a really good deal with burpple beyond.

Massive calzone, Decent pizza I decided to give this place a try because it came very well reviewed in Google (4.7/5). We ordered the White Zone Calzone ($28) and the Pesto Pie ($26). (Pictured) White Zone Calzone (Rating: 8/10) Massive!! But the stuffing was undeniably delicious - never really had anything like it before. The crust was really good too but some parts of it were pretty burnt which was slightly off-putting. Loveddd the sauce! Pesto Pie (Rating: 5.5/10) Tbh nothing special and I don’t think the price is justifiable. Super pretty restaurant with gorgeous fairy lights so I must say the ambience is super! However, do take note of the exclusions and additional charges with using Burrple for certain dishes. My friend and I (2 girls) could barely finish the calzone and 3 slices of pizza so that may be a consideration whilst ordering.

Kaffir lime guava strawberry 5.5++ This is a masterpiece. Properly crispy and airy on the top and dense enough with some chew at the bottom of the pastry. The sauce is absolutely stunning too. Super strong, incredibly fruity but the strength is cleverly balanced out by the cream Well thought out, well executed, high quality ingredients and very satisfying. Not to mention it's not too greasy Must try. Get this to takeaway tho, why spend money just for eating there

Mayo Karaage Don + Unagi Don Very generous portions were given and the food tasted great! Was surprised to see the shop fairly empty on a Saturday night, but it’s definitely worth visiting especially with Burpple. The highballs were also well balanced, not too diluted nor too much.

Nikki Clear Black, Suntory Kakubin Highball ($13.50) Both drinks were fizzy and quite refreshing - a great accompaniment to our savoury rice bowls. It was a little bit diluted but otherwise was a standard highball. Do note that the drinks for the Burpple deal is only applicable for alcohol drinks. We visited on a weekday evening and it wasn’t too crowded although I did notice a fair amount of reservations in the indoor seating area. I actually preferred the outdoor seating, as the ambience was amazing, with the Japanese lanterns hanging at the top and all. Service was great too, the staff were very friendly.

Unagi Don Slice of grilled freshwater eel glazed with eel sauce served on a bed of rice, onsen egg, red pickled ginger then topped with nori and white sesame seed. The eel was tender with slightly crisp skin. The addition of onsen egg adds creaminess to the bowl 》$19.90

Bara Chirashi Don A generous portion of sashimi cubes with a good selection of raw fish. The fishes were fresh and it also comes with salad and miso soup to complete the meal. It’s not the best but worth considering if you want somewhere decent and quiet to satisfy your donburi cravings 》$19.90
