Chargrilled octopus tentacles, tomatoes, olives, basil with a nice touch of balsamic. So succulent and juicy!
Spanish black pig, red wine, parmesan. Taste better than it looks, so creamy and rich
Burrata pizza! Marinated cherry tomatoes on tomato passata with loads of basil pesto! Da yum! The pizza that keeps me coming back again and again ❤️
Added guac to my burrito, love it! Very wholesome and filling😋 habanero sauce was perfect for that extra kick🌶
Named after the a famous wine bar in Tokyo - Bunon, these astoundingly tender chicken chunks came with a thin layer of delicate, light crispy batter. Flavorful and not overly greasy, the chicken chunks are delicious on their own and need no extra seasoning/sauce. Just give the lemon a squeeze for a touch of acidity and you’re good to go!
It should be mandated that you get acquainted with this signature at RVLT - the Patty Melt. Assembled with melted cheese over a juicy medium rare Westholme Wagyu patty, sauce gribiche (mayo-esque sauce made with cooked egg yolks, capers, cornichons and herbs) and ketchup, between thick slices of toasted milk bread. Piquant and tangy, the gribiche gets its briny kick from cornichons and capers and works beautifully as part of the composition of this patty melt. Enjoyed every bite of this. Next time, I’ll think twice about sharing😛
Wine RVLT (short for wine revolution) seeks to create a real revolution in the food and wine experience as a pioneering champion for natural wines in Singapore. They offer a wide variety of organic and biodynamic vino from both the new and old world. What left an impression from my visit was the fun and interactive wine ordering process as there is no wine list, only a wall lined with bottles that function as a visual wine menu. You can certainly count on your knowledgable host on recommendations based on your food order or general preference from the bottles on display or the ones from the daily selections. Only downside from my experience was that the bar was a tad rowdy and i probably do not recommend going for the first seating as last food order is at 730😅
Cold smoke hamachi ceviche with grape and horseradish buttermilk, finished off with droplets of basil oil and dill for that extra oomph. Thoughtfully conceptualized, well balanced, refreshing and punchy!
Up close on the beef Wellington. Got to love that thick layer of duxelles and the perfectly cooked medium rare MB2+ beef tenderloin, all wrapped up in a buttery flaky crust! There is an option to add prosciutto to your Wellington. Shall try that next time 😛

1. Beef Wellington [$88/serves 4] - Recently been quite hooked onto Beef Wellington. Got to love that thick layer of duxelles and the perfectly cooked medium rare MB2+ beef tenderloin, all wrapped up in a buttery flaky crust! There is an option to add prosciutto to your Wellington. Shall try that next time 😛
2. Salt crusted sea bass [$38/serves 2] - In line to be the weekend centerpiece is this show-stopping salt crusted Seabass. Lush, juicy and firm flesh, absolutely amazing taste and texture. The salt crust traps moisture, allowing the fish to steam in its own juices along with the aromas of lemon and dill.
3. Roast chicken [$38/whole chicken] - Tender and flavorful roasted kampung chicken. Juicy chicken with a bed of roasted potatoes, carrots and zucchinis.
4. Homemade pesto pasta with Parmesan sauce [$18] - not as punchy as I would have liked
5. Porcini risotto (V) [$35/serves 2] - I’ve had better ones, but there were enough highlights for the night to fuss over this. Also, probably not the best idea that the grated Parmesan to be added to the risotto was packed separately. It couldn’t melt when added to the risotto cause it has cooled down significantly by then.
6. Cheery cherry tart [$35] - What got my attention in the first place was this beautiful elegant cheery cherry tart. As a cherry lover, i knew I had to get my hands on this! True enough, the tart tasted as sublime as I’d imagined. Just look at how beautiful it looks, with neatly arranged rows of plump and juicy pitted cherries. Our dinner definitely ended on a sweet and memorable note. Rather unconventional, this tart came with a bed of diplomat cream, which was lighter than the more commonly used pastry cream as it has whipped cream infused into it. So delicate and light, just the perfect accompaniment to the buttery biscuit like crust!
Amazing dining experience at this playful and bold mod sin izakaya taking inspiration from asian local flavors. They have a pretty extensive list of small and medium plates and cocktails inspired by the origins of our 5 pillars - indian, chinese, malay and Peranakan/Eurasian. 3 of us shared 4 small plates and 3 medium plates We were impressed (mostly yes) with everything we ordered and another trip is highly necessary to try the rest of the menu!
1. Har Cheong Pork Belly [$8.90] - Thinly sliced pork belly marinated with fermented prawn paste and fried to a crisp. Comes with Kafir lime aioli. Be warned, highly addictive!
2. Tandoori Beef papadum nachos [$8.50] - crispy papadum comes with tandoori beef mince, yoghurt and cheese sauce!
3. Iberico secreto satay [$10.80] I always have a soft spot for satay, and this one is not to be missed! Very well seasoned iberico pork, comes with Javanese satay sauce and a very refreshing pineapple salsa. Bingo!
4. “Orh luak” oyster omelette spaghettini [$20] If you like oyster omelette, you should try this! Comes with juicy plump oysters, with some extra heat from the spicy dried shrimp chili.
5. “La zi Ji” popcorn chicken [$8] Another must order! The Szechuan peppercorn was extremely tantalizing on those golden brown crispy chicken thigh chunks. I’ll say this version is even better than some chinese restaurants I have been to.
6. Miso spring onion 3 cheese spring onion prata pizza [$13.80] Not the most outstanding dish of the night. I guess it’s just cheese on very crispy prata 😂
7. Aburaage Rojak salad [$12.80] Super interesting dish that takes the classic rojak to the next level! This version comes with aburaage (fried Japanese tofu), tiger prawn, jicama, mango topped with bonito flakes. The best part would have been to be the hae gor (prawn paste) ice cream with grated ginger torch flower. Love love the punchy rich prawn essence encapsulated in a creamy milky cold version. Amazing! Could eat that on its own 😋
8. Deep fried Matcha latte [$8] - deep fried matcha milk cubes, comes with whipped adzuki. Not bad!
9. Chendol [$8.50] - pandan panna cotta, house made honeycomb, gula melaka and coconut ice cream. A tad sweet though no better way to end the delicious meal.
