If you’re studying in Singapore Polytechnic or love to eat in SP, you must try the vegetarian food at FC2! You can choose from white rice, fried noodles, fried rice, brown rice and others as well as delicious vegetarian side dishes 🤤 The uncle gives you a rather big portion as well so it’s really a BANG for your BUCK!
.
This is my favorite combination to order every time I purchase from the vegetarian store. The fried rice is really well-cooked as it isn’t overly dry and bland and all of the dishes are cooked really well as compared to other economy rice stores I’ve eaten in SP. The chilli leans more towards the sweet than spicy side so I always put lots of chilli on my plate 🌶💕

If you work around the Tanjong Pagar area, you must have heard of Coffee Break! Selling a wide range of traditional and modernised drinks, Coffee Break has now become a hot favorite at Amoy Street Food Centre 🔥
The iced green tea latte is one of my most ordered drinks at Coffee Break! The bitterness of the matcha really comes through, though subtle, which I absolutely loved 💕 Highly recommended!

Served with eggs of your choice, smoked pork sausage, streaky bacon, lyonnaise potatoes, roasted cherry vine tomatoes, sauteed mushroom, toasts and french butter 🍳

One of my absolute favorite Breakfast/ Brunch places in Singapore! The food is always so consistent, the ambience is comfortable and the service is amazing! A must-go place if you’re in the area ✨ It gets crowded on the weekends so do go down early or a little later for brunch!

Ordered Potato Head’s chicken burger! Overall, it was rather average, though I loved the mix of flavors. The crust of the chicken was soft but the chicken itself could be more tender. The coleslaw gave a nice sour taste to the whole burger, which I personally loved. Worth a shot though!!

TIP! Go during lunch time as you can order this burger with a side/dessert and a drink for $24++ which is super worth!! ☺️

Where else can you find a ramen place below $10? For $7.80, I would say this bowl of ramen will be worth your buck. Don’t expect much though!

The broth was light, and as a person who likes heavy flavors, the broth didn’t sit well with me. The pork and egg were average, though the pork had a rather “fatty” taste. Overall, I would say the meal was pretty average but for $7.80, it was worth it! ☺️ Love the ambience though!

For a quick and delicious lunch, head down to Park Bench Deli! The portion was generous and can be shared within two people! Taste-wise, the beef was tender and the bread was soft though I felt it could have a tad more cheese. 🧀

Back at A Noodle Story to satisfy my craving ☺️ I would really like to thank them for their high standard, the consistency of their food and for being so friendly and starting a small chat with me! It’s amazing how this bowl of ramen still tastes as flavorful and perfect even after months of not coming to Amoy 💕

The medium bowl is like the small bowl ($7) but with much more ingredients. More steamed wantons, a full egg, a fried wanton but with the same amount of noodles as the small bowl. Every single ingredient on the bowl was cooked to perfection! The melt-in-your-mouth char siew, the silky wanton, the springy noodles, the perfectly crisp prawn; their food is legendary and by far, one of the most impressive and memorable Hawker Food in Singapore. 🇸🇬

I’ve always been a huge fan of coffee break, so naturally, when I heard about their third branch at GSH Plaza, I had to go down and try!

I decided to try a new flavor this time and it didn’t disappoint. The butter pecan was not overpowering and matched well with the chocolate. Neither two flavors outshined the other and just complemented each other well! Officially my new favorite drink at Coffee Break! The standard is as consistent as what Coffee Break usually serves at their Amoy Street branch!

A cozy and unique environment in the CBD, Coffee Break continues to amuse me ☕️💕

I love good food that puts a smile on my face and Apiary’s dessert did that! Apiary has been brought up in my “dessert” conversations many times now, especially with my sis and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint.

The waffles were crispy but soft. I loved how the waffle wasn’t dry and melted in my mouth 🤤 The Apiary ice cream was creamy and thick, and one of the best ice creams I’ve had in Singapore. Highly recommended!! ✨💕

Personally not a huge fan of berries, but this dessert took my heart away! Generously topped with raspberries and blackberries, the tart was crisp and the custard inside was silky and flavorful. One of the lucky finds in Tiong Bahru and I’m so glad I found it. I definitely will be back for more 🍴

Crazily in love the claypot laksa from Zhen Shan Mei! ☺️ One of the most raved-about hawker food and one of the few hawker stores at the top of my wishlist, I can see why this claypot laksa has gained so much popularity!

The broth was spicy and thick while the noodles were silky and smooth; simply perfect! The chicken was a little tough but when eaten together with everything else, you wouldn't even notice. Highly recommended 🙌🏻

Yes, just $1.30 for this egg prata! Ali Fatimah has been a frequent spot for me during my secondary school days as we came here for breakfast before school started on some days (yes prata at 6am! 😂)
I would say the prata is pretty average, and leans more to the soft than crispy side which I don't mind. The curry's alright as well, but could use a bit more spice!
The store owners are super nice as well, and one of the main reasons why we keep going back for more (fun fact! the owner was on a toothpaste advertisement before!!)
