Great restaurant for a special occasion. Came here for a birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The steak was tender and juicy. We alao ordered the scallops which were flavourful. The restaurant itself is very aesthetic, and it was quiet when we went at night. The restaurant were friendly and attentive too.

Comfortable Setting With Good Service! Tried the tomato soup and chicken soup(recommended). Tomato soup was a little sweet for my liking but the chicken soup is good! Will come back to try the prawn soup!

turkey bacon and cheese ($4.90) & loaded tater tots ($5.50) sad to see that egg stop is no longer on burpple beyond. really enjoyed the taste and texture of the scrambled eggs but i honestly think that the turkey bacon was too overpowered by the egg so it kinda disappeared in each mouthful. perhaps other flavours on the menu would be better balanced! we really enjoyed the tater tots but yet pretty disappointed in the portion of as it was barely filled up to half a cup...

Beef Chilli ($5.90), Smoked Chicken ($5.50) If you’re a fan of scrambled eggs on toast, and also happen to love breakfast sandwiches, then this is probably the shop for you. Both sandwiches were very flavourful and deliciously messy, every bite I took had the sandwich fillings oozing and falling out from every corner. Get your tissues ready. There’s no seating area at the shop unfortunately, but we found some benches outside the mall to enjoy our sandwiches. We used the Beyond deal which cost us $8.90 for two sandwiches, and that made it very worth it.

6 for $27 with Burpple Beyond Love their eclairs!

Actual Burpple Offer Differed From The Description Thought it was "3 Eclairs for 3 Eclairs" (which was how it was like previously when I used it last year), but apparently they've an agreement with Burpple that said that it will be $33 (for a total of 6 eclairs). Though it's still slightly cheaper than the original price for 6, I still felt a bit cheated cos this was not stated anywhere. They should have stated this somewhere that it's no longer 3 for 3, but a box of 6 for $33. Apart from this, the eclairs tasted fresher and better than the previous time that I bought them.

eclairs pistachio was the best, followed by the salted caramel. strawberry was quite good too

Ice Cream Waffle Seemed like a popular place. I can't fault the food but I'm not a fan of mochi waffle so I've mixed feelings.

1-1 waffle as what others have mentioned you don’t actually save $16 from the deal… but decided to try and got 2 waffles and 4 scoops of ice cream (~$30++). waffle portion is quite generous, thick and crispy. would recommend getting the dark chocolate ice cream.

The deal don’t match, don’t make the trip there. Went in and did not order. Checked with the staff and they indicated that the 1 for 1 deal is only for the waffles base from $8.50. Not those fancy waffles which are priced at around $15. Such misleading offer when the saving indicated for the 1 for 1 offer is stated ~$15. Phenomenal Meat. We arrived at the establishment, not too for away from the MRT, making it very convenient for meat-craving souls, such as ourselves. The place was rather filled, a testiment to the reviews we've perused. Thankfully, we made a reservation. We got the Charcoal Grilled Whisky Ribeye. There was some wait time, but the songs queued slapped real hard (like the meat). Then, The Meat arrived. My first bite reminded me of my first kiss - wet, juicy and delicious. Not sure if it was the whiskey, but we were completely intoxicated. The way the flavors came together was utterly spectacular and left us begging for more. The meat bolstered a rich complex flavour, which was further enhanced by the flaky sea salt that brought the sweetness out of the meat.

Maybe not Nacho and cheese @ $6+ Chips felt like they were from a store bought bag. Cheese was served cold. Would go for other sides next time.

Forage Signature From The Forage Cafe Multi-floral Honey Citrus Jasmine Tea with Yuzu Blossom Jelly & Passionfruit Burst. Really its the cooling remedy for hot day indeed.

Turkey Ham & Cheese From The Forage Cafe Grilled buttermilk waffles stuffed with turkey ham and mozzarella cheese. Served with mushrooms and mixed greens.

Forage Big Breakfast From The Forage Cafe Brunch for one is definitely satisfying. Honey buttermilk waffles, smoked salmon, bacon, chicken patty, baked beans, mushrooms, greens & creamy omelette.

Mala Grilled Fish We ordered the patin fish to be served mala style (as recommended by the friendly waitress). The fish was fairly huge, the meat was flaky and succulent with a good bite to it as all fresh fish do. This also came with beancurd skin, cabbage and some sprouts. The flavour profile of the dish was complemented by the distinct char grilled taste of the fish skin. This was on promotion and the total cost about $50 after gst and service charge. Rating: 8.1/10 Do note that the spiciness level is fixed as the establishment purportedly wants its patrons to experience the authentic flavour profile (the phrase used was 原味). That said, one need not be scared by how red this dish turned out as the spice level was at a pleasant and tolerable level - for someone who generally orders 小辣 for mala xiangguo . The staff were friendly and service was prompt too. Will most definitely recommend this place.
