Hidden amongst all the other fancy eateries at Circular Road is an eatery that is specialises in burgers is Dojo. But Dojo is not just all about Burgers; their menu features all-things Pork. Only pork patties are served here, and their sides which come with meat also contains of no other meat except Pork. Expect different variants of pork here, ranging from grilled to fried, it gets your heaviest pork cravings satisfied. If you are craving for Kong Bak Pau, go for their highly recommended Komba Bao that features both chunky and fatty braised pork in a fried bun; nothing is as sinful as that. It would be interesting to see how Dojo turn out to be in the long run though, especially being located at an area with no short of fancy eateries like itself.
Pancakes drenched in salted caramel, bananas and walnut bits. Loved how the salted caramel is just of the right salty-sweet ratio, and how the edges of the pancakes came with a slight crisp with its fragrant batter.
Still prefer the usuals matcha & lychee.
Happy Monday y'all! • [Red Velvet Cake S$6.50]
[Strawberry Chocolate Toast S$6.50] - we think this is better than Wa Cafe's toast, not so drying.
Local MediaCorp artistes Felicia Chin and Sora Ma have teamed up to open their first joint F&B venture - The Mama Shop, in the Old Police Operational Headquarters. This retro-themed cafe situated amidst the tranquility of Pearl Hill Terrace provides a chill space for friends to catch up and reminisce over old-school Ipoh white coffee, local desserts, waffles and burgers. It is not the most accessible cafe, but for a quiet respite from the busy city (or maybe even a chance to meet these ladies in person), it may be worth the trip.
