1. Spicy nuggets at Engine school's short circuit canteen
Taiwanese styled. It's really good for a school's food. I used to always come here during break time, order the biggest portion and ask for extra chilli. You can ask for more than the usual 5 or 7 pieces.

2. Iced holicks at Engine school's bread board
It used to be sold by an old uncle and a younger guy. The uncle always made it better. Sorry dude. The canteen has now been fully renovated and the drink store is tended by various individuals all wearing a bread board shirt. It's still creamy and thick still not so bad :D more for holicks lovers!

This laksa is been around since i was young. Is one of the famous food in yishun. So since young me and my friends even till now still eating.

- the laksa soup quite frangrance
-chilli mix with the green leave (minced into bits) is good!
-the dou pok cooked together with the soup based is soft and absorb the soup taste.
-over all i would rate at 7/10
-price damage $4

Total damage is 140RM which i find it very cheap.
-2 salted egg crab about 850g total not bad using alot of the yolk part to cook with it. Is nice and pretty sinful the meat itself didnt overcook it. I personally think that if using srinlaka crab it might be much high rating but no choice the size of crab is really small. I would rate at 7/10. But the very first bite have a long jang smell but only that particular part. The rest didnt taste it. 2 crab at 88RM.

-chilli lala the sauce is very good! Tasty thick sauce the lala didnt overcook goes very well with it. Fresh. 8/10

-cerel prawn in my opinion able to eat the shell together with the prawn and the cerel but i think the shell wasnt too cripsy to chew it as it is. But the frangrance of it is still good. The prawn is a sea prawn type, in singapore nowadays our prawn is grow in a pond type it doesnt have the sea taste itself. I personally rate at 6.5/10

-stir fry potato leave is good! One of the good veg we taste and cooked. But we do find the portion is quite small for the small. Lol.. over all i rate at 7/10.

Overall i am satisfied with my food. I didnt expect to find nice food in such a remote area as port dickson . So not a bad night to end with

-ramen soup personally dont feel very fantastic about it. I had tried many places i do think the chef origin from where is very impt. This a pork bone soup base but i couldnt taste anyone of it. Instead i taste the noodle flour/powder much more. But the grill pork is good. Soft & tender and melt in the mouth. Just that i think the soup itself fail big time that affect the whole general taste and rating. If the soup is good this maybe going on 8/10 etc.but sad truth as for now I will rate is at 4/10.

- we find that the soup base wouldnt very fantastic but the indregient inside is much fresher then other place we tried. The beef slice is nice with fragrance smell, taste with the fats goes well with the rice. Mushroom is quite chewy over all we would rate st 6.5/10

- i am quite disappointed with the chicken itself as it is boon tong kee signature dish. The chicken standard is the same as mainly outside hawker centre quality. The sauce itself nothing amazing. Yishun 925 chicken rice did a better job over all.
2pax about $15, 5/10.

-chicken rice itself, is good!! Is very fragrance the aroma filled up your mouth. The smell enter your nose you know this rice cook with good timing and mixture of ginger ,garlic etc.9/10

-lotus soup is disappointing, you buy from.lao huo tang is even better, better pricing somemore. 2/10

-veg with dou kee is good! Which im surprised when you come in as you thought signature us good but ended up a side dish is better then their speciality main dish. The sauce is thick, dou kee deep fry. Good combine taste together 8/10 $10

-wifey is not for food review & sales <3 she beautiful so took it together with my food ^^

Overall still satisfied with our food. We will rate 6.5/10. This more satisfied then the trip to hua long fish head steamboat.

This Thai resturant is located beside the famous mookata (udon mookata) the Nana Thai resturant orange signboard. Level 1 nearer to Western Union side.

Milk tea: I will rate 8/10 very thick tea taste very fragrance when you stir it together the combination of sweet milk and thick tea taste rather good! (Had 2 glass)

Tom yam: 7/10 we ordered Tom yam kung it taste ok but I think it could be better as I remember last time their standard is much better. Inside have prawn, Tom yam leave, chicken, sotong.

Green curry: I will rate it 8/10. Not bad. Very strong pandan smell very tasty quite well done but the texture of the sauce is more towards soup style not curry sauce. The slice chicken is yummy.

Fried rice: 9/10. I think fried rice is really good. Strong pineapple taste, very tasty fragrance with all the meat, ba hoo, prawn etc it goes quite well with the green curry infact.

Phad Thai : I will rate it at 2/10. Generally nothing much to say. Is just not nice waste of my stomach space

Total bill $72.

Have eaten 3 fish head steamboat so far, this has been the least liked. 6/10. With the channel 8 advertisement and thought we could expect more.

1. Unripe tomatoes
Perhaps if you like your soup slightly sour this may be for you. It has unripe tomatoes in its base.
2. Charcoal hardly existed
Very little charcoal, no charcoal smell or taste in the soup, it seemed to have been placed for the sake of calling it a charcoal steamboat.
3. Overcooked fish
This had the worst texture because it was overcooked and when you've eaten enough fish you'd know from the moment your fangs sink in.
4. Not heartening for veggie lovers
It seemed more of a dumping ground then a brilliant wholehearted creation.
Overall, if you come with expectations because this place has good reviews you'd be gravely disappointed. But if you stayed nearby and just came by while really hungry this would be -ok-

Worst sweet potato leaves I've had in the world. China did it better. Taipei did it better. Khatib has one of the best I've tried. Even whampoa fish head steamboat (in previous post) had better sweet potato leaves. The pour plant was pained and finally died unappreciated. 1/10

Hot plate tou fu was not bad but more of a Malay and Chinese fusion cuisine. Not my favourite. 6/10

Total price of all dishes: S$48
(Cheapest in dollars but most costly because of wasted calories)

This stall never fail to impress me. Is located at amoy Street food court #01-13, Yu guo curry rice red and white sign board.

-the pork chopppp is sooooo good. First bite is very crispy and the fragrance is overwhelming. Makes you keep wanting to eat as much as you can. Very tasty deep fried brown go with the curry sauce + rice is really nice.

-the veg is very tasty soft cook with dong Fen and the onion (quite alot) egg is good too. Both give off individual fragrance and best go with their rice.

I will rate it at 8/10.

It was lead by a single man China uncle, he was very polite and while taking order he can flip a wok of egg in front of you. The line of this stall is always long. He put coins at the side so you can take the remaining changes yourself. Free flow of soup too.

Pricing is reasonable about $4+

Fish steamboat : the soup is very rich, milky,XO,slight salted fish taste, fried garlic, seaweed, sour plum , sweet and fragrance taste from vegetable. The soup is much heavier taste than bugis's nam hua fish head steamboat. The charcoal taste is lighter here and the fish scales weren't removed here! But bugis was more of a homey steamboat taste/feel and this is more of a special occasion eat at restaurant style. I will rate at 8/10. Due to different style, different taste entirely. $50 smallest portion to start with.

-Salted egg prawns here was pretty good. Sauce is thick filled totally just Salted egg. Many place their sauce is very watery. Not sticky not thick and eat for long it disgust the taste. I will rate the prawn here 8/10,$20 smallest portion Onwards.

-potato leaves were good tasting but too undercooked. Would prefer something that is more cooked, softer, sauce is not as tasty as a coffeeshop chi char stall at khatib I tasted. So I would rate 6/10,$9 smallest portion Onwards.

Was on my way to taste the fish head steamboat in whampoa came across this it look good sooo decided to try!!!. Hmmmm... When I first bite the egg tart the taste of the filling is very nice. Thick and rich but the second bite o wards is disappointing the crust o. The side is not what I'm expecting it to be. Too thick, like abit 'Lao hong'. I rate it 5/10. Pricing is consider expensive $1.80 each. Infact pineapple tart is much better. First bite the crust outside is very fragrance, the texture is good and the filling is thick, rich, and long lasting taste. 8/10. Pricing is consider ex. $1 for each.

Good. Fish was fresh and cooked just right. The steamboat was actually just vegetables and fish but it was simple and satisfying with a flavourful soupbase - strong salted fish and charcoal lingering taste. Hawker styled, it cost about S$45 for 2 pax.
