La La Mee Hoon Generous with their amount of La La's but only charging at a fair price of RM28, I happily walk away singing the sha-la-la! 📍Crab Generation, Taman Len Seng 💲RM35

'Ham Sap'(pervert) Crab I love the puns in their menu here. 'Ham' which means 'salty' in Cantonese refers to the salted egg yolk used in this dish while 'Sap' which means 'wet' refers to the finger-lickin sweet creamy butter sauce. The salted egg yolk gives a lovely golden crunch which goes well with the juicy flesh of the crab while the creamy butter sauce gives it that extra boost of flavor. This dish is loaded with cholesterol but I would gladly put myself at risk from a heart attack for another piece of this mouth-watering goodness. This restaurant is famous for their out of this world crab sauces such as Oreo Chessy crab and Coffee Cheese crab. 📍Crab Generation, Taman Len Seng 💲RM98

‘2012世界末日’ ‘2012世界末日’which means '2012 Dooms Day' is a crispy deep fried yam ring filled with chicken pieces drenched in thick, sweet and a mildly spicy Thai style chili mayo. Wait....there's more! Surrounding the yam ring are fruity flavored sweet pork ribs coated with crushed peanuts lying on a bed of crunchy glass noodles. Sedap-Nya! 📍Crab Generation, Taman Len Seng 💲RM35

Monday At Sunday 🙃 Cafe hopping at Sunday wasn’t in my plan, it was a surprise. Even on a weekday, the cafe is pretty packed and busy (that surprised me a bit). We ordered Matcha; Hojicha; Tamagoyaki Sandwich 🥪 However, the sandwich was a bad one because there’s wasabi on the bread :(( the combination is just so weird till we almost vomited lol

Oasis Delight A rare gem in Kajang serving good Japanese cuisine as well as coffee. This 4 month old establishment has a minimal interior and dim yellow lights that gives a cozy vibe. Variety of items on the menu with picture illustration for each dish. In frame: Oasis Delight (RM16) which consists of beautiful golden-brown waffle with matcha ice cream, azuki beans and fruits. The waffle was buttery and soft on the inside and the exterior slightly crispy. Azuki beans and ice cream was okay. Had a cappuccino (RM9) and it was quite good. I haven't tried the mains in this visit, but from what I heard from friends, it's worth a try. They also have a private room that can accomodate 16 pax for large groups.

Good white Been wanting to check this place out for a while now, finally get to try. The deco is clean and neat, with Mandarin Pop playing?? 🤔🤔 Anyway, coffee is decent and the flat white tastes good!!

Mocha (RM14) Honestly, one of the better mochas I’ve had. It’s not sickeningly sweet and the chocolate is surprisingly quite deep bodied!

Orange Nitro Fizz (RM18) Cold pressed citrus juice, nitro coffee, honey, topped with coconut nectar. I loveee the zing of the citrus, a perfect cold drink for a hot day. The nitro coffee however was not as carbonated as I wanted it to be. But overall still a mighty fine drink!

For Yummy Hong Kong Polo Buns If you’re a big fan of Hong Kong polo buns, pen this sunny cafe down for teatime with a friend. The Toast + Luncheon Meat + Fried Egg (RM7.90) is a classic, solid combo that will do well for a light lunch. The Butter Toast (RM4.90) featuring a thick slab of butter stuffed between two crispy buns is another favourite for a simple pairing that works delightfully well. Can't have polo buns without a mandatory milk tea! The sweet and fragrant Iced Bucket Milk Tea (RM6.90) is a winner. Photo by Burppler Twinkle Gan

Ice Bucket Milk Tea (RM6.90) I also love milk tea so I really enjoyed this too! Very fragrant tea with good milk ratio. It didn’t leave us feeling heavy, which is a good thing. This is up for takeaways too, sans bucket but you get to keep the glass bottle.

Super BBQ Combo To me, service is key, and this cute spot along Jalan Mesui aced that factor. Quick service, observant and friendly staff members, knows exactly what the customers need. Very impressive! Food wise, it was terrific. The meat cuts were fresh and juicy. Who doesn’t love a good Korean BBQ? Of course, this comes with a slightly higher than average price tag. Nevertheless, I would go back for special occasions!

Best cheesecake Not a fan of cheesecake, this one is exception. Not too heavy nor too rich, the right balance and texture of cheese and cream. And the burnt tinge of honey with sea salt invoke the playfulness in your palate. Worth a visit, the lady owner places very high standard to the drinks (tea based) and her cheesecake (homebaked in small batch to ensure it’s freshness) I also fell in love with the Hojicha pudding. Definitely a place to go for comfort food.

For Artisanal Milk Teas With Housemade Molasses Jelly Find artisanal milk teas, cold brew teas and more at this gorgeous spot inside Zhongshan Building. The milk teas are must-orders, like the smoky Iribancha (RM12) or the classic Houjicha (RM12). Be sure to have them with the Homemade Molasses Jelly (RM2) – sweet bites with every sip! Burppler Jesius Enamourez also recommends the fizzy and refreshing Matcha Wintermelon Sour Soda (RM16) or the Wintermelon Sour Soda (RM14). Ps. Go through Anatomy to find them tucked behind! Salted Egg Yolk Pasta (RM20) Spacious and brightly lit cafe. The space was quite empty during lunch time but starts to fill up around 2pm. Lunch menu served from 12-2pm which is the price of selected pasta dish + RM2 for a drink. The salted egg yolk sauce was so creamy, rich and flavourful with a hint of chilli and the prawns were fresh. I would gladly have this again!
