Was here for vday celebration yesterday, didn’t have to queue when we reached at 6pm. The collagen soup was still as great and wagyu beef was on promotion, $15 for a plate!

The tamagoyaki ($5) looked a little dark coloured as compared to those we ate at other Jap restaurants. We ordered Original Chicken Nanban ($9), but I found the chicken to be a tad bit too salty.

The meat was very soft, tender and easy to chew, making it a perfect main for my grandma. She simply used the fork to nudge the meat and it falls apart immediately.

Another great main to try with Burpple Beyond!

Ordered medium rare with natural jus (slight citrusy sauce that complimented the steak well). Steak was well executed and very juicy.

Very well worth the price especially with Burpple Beyond.

The fish slices and prawns in this 12-item Signature Rice Noodle were surprisingly fresh! The rice noodles were smooth and chewy, and went well with the huge bowl of soup. Will be back to try other stuff on the menu.

The 6 of us also ordered Wagyu Truffle Beef Hor Fun (3-4 people portion) to share, so each person only gets a small bowl to try as the portion is quite little. We like how the horfun has crispy bits inside and with every small bite, we get a heavenly waft of truffle aroma. 😍

Overall pretty cool entrance to the hidden restaurant behind but also a little waste of space for the facade on the front as it seems to be just empty for now. 🤔

Went to try the food with a party of 6. Ordered the popular Firecracker Chicken and Maple Fritters and wow, it was amazing! The chicken was very spicy and a little ma, essentially it is 辣子鸡 with a good portion of chicken (unlike other restaurants that served more chilli than chicken bits). Not really a fan of the maple youtiaos as it’s very sweet and quite hard to chew.

Perfectly grilled salted perch, juicy and chunky meat, and very easy to debone. This meal is 100% worth the long queue! Love the portion given, and the soft and moist rice in the set! Hot tea is provided as well.

Salmon Mentai Don was pretty good, but I find the sauce was quite salty. Bf ordered Unagi Tama Don ($8.80) and he loves it, unagi was cooked perfectly. Tbh I also preferred the Unagi Tama Don more.

We also got the Donya Maki ($5.80) to share. It was a pretty good dinner 👍🏻

Not the usual clear fish soup we get in hawker centres. The soup is quite thick and fragrant, with a few pieces of fish slices, some tofu, cabbage and tomato.

We got Fried Prawn Paste Chicken ($5.80) and Fried Prawn Roll ($5) to share. The portion for side dishes honestly looks sad and pathetic, definitely not worth the price paid, especially the chicken wings that barely had much meat left when we sank our teeth into it.

Would not recommend getting sides but the fish soup is still decent, although I still very much prefer fish soups at kopitam/hawker centres. 🧐

Set meal came with a plate of rice, an old school coke bottle and a bowl of Tom Yam Clear Soup (Same size as S size Tom Yam Clear Soup on their ala carte menu).

Super shiok Tom Yam soup, spiciness and sourness were well balanced. 👍🏻 Opted for seafood option, had like 3 slices of fish, 1 prawn and 2-3 squid tentacles. Portion was okay for a single person meal.

Would return for the soup and maybe try other things on the menu.

Heard that the Mochi Obanyaki is limited edition for this period. The matcha and the dark chocolate filling was well balanced, the mochi dough was very chewy too! 💚
