This is not just any mountain of fries. Underneath are tender slices of chopped mutton, egg with deliciously runny yolk and some large pieces of tomato/cucumbers. A favourite choice from this stall. Other popular dishes are their prata and nasi briyani.

Feeling under the weather so naturally one would seek for porridge. Sometimes you don't want to use the kitchen, and need it pronto so the best way to go is to head down to the nearest KFC for a bowl of porridge with tea/coffee. It is tasty, and topping up a dollar gives you the fresh egg tart. Only available at breakfast hours in certain outlets.

Favour of ice creams. I love the concept of this cup of ice cream topped with cone because maybe they've decided that this is way better than making the customers choose between cup or cone. And it is. Under the sweltering hot afternoon sun, there is nothing better than ice creams. I had affogato with caramel sauce. It made my walk back to the train station much cooler.

Locate the chicken rice stall, order treasure set, and embrace the chicken rice in threesome flavours. Strictly for chicken rice lovers whom simply appreciate whatever ways the chicken is being cooked. The rice is flavoursome and so is the soup. Love this!

Croissantwich + goblets of hashbrown + iced milo = where the best fast food breakfast option is served. All the time.

Chicken chop from the Mediterranean stall is pretty good. I believe their black pepper sauce has their own touch to it.

This grilled chicken wrap is the way to go for those who are health conscious but strapped on time. Seeing how prevalent mcd outlets are in Singapore, this is a positive addition to the menu. It has generous amount of veggies and is pretty satiating. A must try.

I ordered chicken chop with hot sauce, seaweed fries, and ice lemon tea. There was a bit of crowd, so be prepared to wait for an empty table. The hot sauce was not that hot, but very flavoursome. Good seaweed flavouring. But I wish the seasoning is a bit less for both chicken and fries because it's a tad salty. Overall, it's a refreshing break from western fast food, and you can feel a bit at home and ease into this Asian taste. It's the kind of fried chicken you have to try at least once. Go!

Nasi lemak from Ole Ole Bumbu stall. You will find that the stall owners are friendly, putting you into a good mood even before your hunger is satiated. You can get drumstick or breast part for the chicken (fried chicken fans rejoice!). And the sambal is tasty—please request for more if you're a sambal person. Overall, a satisfying nasi lemak experience for me 😊

I really love the dark chocolate cake. It is so moist the piece of cake jiggles when you move the plate. The soft texture of cake jelled with the rich texture of chocolate cream in between = heavenly. And it goes well with a cup of latte too.

I suggest paying special attention to the speculoos-flavoured and the red velvet ❤️

Fluffy and soft waffles that was made on the spot. Caramel which was drizzled all over wasn't too sweet (awesome). Of course, a generous serving of choc chip ice cream to top it all. I greatly appreciated how spacious the cafe was (a stark contrast to most cafes in Singapore), that means there was quite a distance between the tables and between your own and other people's conversations—this added some intimacy with your company or with your own coffee/desserts (for solo visitors).
