Ramly-esque patties with tons of dressing, just the way I like my burgers. The quartet (four cheese) is my favorite but the truffle mushroom (pictured) comes a close second with its luxurious truffle smell. Not a big fan of the somewhat artificial tasting mac and cheese though.

My order is always ready at the specified time indicated in the oddle app 👍, i love the no-contact pickup method at tampines food co.

Nangfa offers plenty of dishes that travel well in a takeout container ! The seafood glass noodle salad is my go to when I want a simple but satisfying lunch. Goes best with Thai iced tea to wash down the 🌶 .

My order is always packed and waiting for me at the specified time indicated in the oddle app 👍

🚗 : 10min grace period at hdb carpark nearby, perfect for pick ups
💡 : way more authentic than nakhon next door, in case you were wondering.

These seafood bags travel really well and even come with the waxed paper, just like when dining in. A must have tool in your lock down shed. The Howard Road location is just by the road, very convenient for those who are picking up, if not then they have island wide delivery.

💡: Avoid taking away the sweet potato fries as they get really soggy in the box and cannot be resurrected even in the oven

Not mind blowing like the grilled pork, but a fun snack to have with drinks. The cornflakes give these juicy little nuggets some extra crunch, while the wasabi mayo dressing provides a nice kick. Tldr Like KFC popcorn chicken, but better!
Honestly we didn't know what to expect from the new menu after getting so used to Garang Grill, but this grilled pork blew us away with its smokey flavour and juicy tenderness. Limited servings available as it takes a long time to prepare, so just grab if you see it in the specials board!
.
💡Pairs perfectly with the grilled cauliflower with its sinful ranch dressing balanced with the tartness of pomegranate molasses.
This CFR is soooo tasty, fried with a kickass spicy hay bee hiam (dried shrimp paste). There are several scallops inside that you can't see, plus the generous serving of crabmeat as pictured. I only wish that the rice was a bit less soggy, and that they have a 150g version (currently they only offer 100g and 250g). Totally suits my more intense taste buds.
.
💡: FYI they don't have lunch sets anymore.
Cos truffle rice - 'nuff said.
.
The foie gras in this rice bowl is very good for the price, but the Otoro pieces are too small and also too overcooked for my taste (they aburi it until it loses its luxurious fatty texture).
.
I've tried almost all the rice bowls and spaghetti here and I still think the nicest bowl here is the assorted fish ($14.90) because it has the widest variety. Try this place if you dislike white rice and prefer a more localized version of sashimi rice bowl.
.
💡: obviously, avoid this place if you don't like truffle (but what kind of monster are u...).
The owner sources from a curated selection of European artisan cheesemongers, so you'll always find cheeses you can't get from supermarkets or even gourmet cheese shops at Dempsey. A tasting usually comprises of an omakase platter of 8 cheeses, with a couple of bucks worth of fruits and nuts. Just say what you like, or be challenged to try new flavors. Expect to spend about $30/pax on average, excluding drinks.
.
🚗 : Limited (very narrow) URA parking just in front of the shop (better for short wheel base) or across the road. Alternatively ERP parking at MDIS campus works well on weeknights or weekends.
Like butterfly, but better, cos you can stuff these savoury-sweet cups with tasty meat filling. Also, photogenic af. Chilli lovers should request for chilli oil to give an extra oomph.
.
Other favorite dishes at shang social include the seafood porridge (sans the rice crispies) and the savoury tofu.
.
My least favorite dish is the szechuan chix cos its not authentic AT ALL with the weird peanut not-spicy sauce (more like a pseudo chinois dish for angmos and those who don't actually like spicy food).
.
💡: My favorite table is actually the bar because there's never any queue for the bar and you can order from all 3 menus when you sit at the bar. Well... also because I like alcohol 😅 HOWEVER, I hear that the silly folks in mgt are planning to shut the bar soon which is a tragedy (are you hearing this Shangrila??)
Ps cafe finally available in the hood! As with all other ps cafes, a bit expensive, especially the overpriced drinks, but they do how to create the perfect ambience for each location. In this case, the sound of waves play constantly over the sound system. Contrived, but somehow it works. I prefer this beach location more than the Fullerton one, but my favorites are probably still Ann siang or raffles city as they just look more.. European?
.
🚗 : carpark D3 (erp parking) is closest
💡 : Avoid weekends for now as they just opened end Nov 2019 and you know how Singaporeans rush to be the first then complain about the crowd. Weekdays are fine.
I don't normally go for pork belly (I like fats in my meat to be more evenly spread out), but this is an interesting take on it, with mee siam in the middle and mee siam gravy. Pork was fork tender and skin was perfect and crackling. You can easily scrape off the layer of fat if it gets too jelak. The accompanying kimchi was quite tasteless tho, would have preferred something more tangy, perhaps achar or pickles. You get 1-for-1 on this with #burpplebeyond, and you can even top up $3 for a drink and a small side.
.
💡 : babasan has taken over the old boat q Fu Lin YTF location
Achieving 65% of Malaysia standard is no mean feat. This hokkien mee has the requisite glistening pork lard oil, but could do with more wok hei. I would recommend queuing for this over the other popular stall here (penang ckt) which is very average.
