had a hard time eating this fish, too many tiny little bones, and the flesh was quite dry..the only dish that I didn't like

some kind of roll that contains mochi and is topped with cavier, pop it in your mouth and it's all gone in just one bite #foodcoma

Spicy crab stir fry with rice noodles guotiao, delicious but very filling #foodcoma

meaty pork ribs that is thick and chunky, flavourful and yet not too dry..#foodcoma

huge and generous amounts of cold raw sashimi, shells, mussels, prawns, abalone, crab, escargot..definitely a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds..this was our starter dish for 12 course dinner for 10 pax for 7000 Taiwan dollars..very worthwhile considering the freshness and variety of dishes

The pies are good! My favorite is the s'more pie with the grahams biscuit and smoked marshmallows in it. The minty grasshopper pie is equally good but not as chocolatey..nice cafe ambience and delicious pies, worth visiting again

hazelnut cake, avocado gula melaka, mango passionfruit, rainbow jelly cake. I can't really remember the names of the cakes, but pine garden's cakes are quite over-hyped? The cakes are ordinary and quite dry, do not taste as good as it looks

getting my ramen fix in Taipei, Ximending. This is the signature peanut broth ramen, it's really good with melt-in-your-mouth char siew..However I really prefer another of the ramen recommended by the restaurant owner which has a vinegar-based broth..really addictive and it tastes like the vinegar that is eaten together with hk hairy crab

sweet macadamia mousse, love the nutty flavor of it..this macadamia mousse cake is really value for money! one of this cost only about $2 Singapore dollars and it's really good! This would easily be around $6-7 or even more in Singapore

Korean BBQ at its best! The grilled pork was awesome and there is free refill of soup, rice and meat
