I eat this every time I come here and I never tire of it!! Amazingness in a bowl. Tasty, healthy and not too heavy, packed with fresh veggies, mushrooms, avocado and the nicest seared beef on top. If you go at lunch you can add $2 to make a meal with a drink and a small dessert.
I absolutely love PODI. It's one of those places where the entire menu is composed of such delicious items that it keeps you coming back time and time again to try different things each time. Good quality, reasonably priced, and on top of it all, PODI always plates each dish exquisitely. Today, I had the pulled pork benny, which is basically shredded pulled pork on a bed of brioche, topped with perfectly poached eggs and a chipotle hollandaise sauce. Refreshing take on an eggs ben. It was tasty and I loved it!
Doesn't look like much, but this was one of the best truffle fries I've ever had (and I've tried many)! Tasty, fragrant, and not too oily. Happiness in a basket. On the other hand, I had the grilled chicken and breaded mushroom wrap as my main and it was a little dry and tasteless.
It's really called Happy cake! Made me happy to discover that while this may look like an ordinary chocolate cake, there are actually crispy chocoballs embedded in the cake to create a surprisingly crunchy yet moist texture that I loved.
Definitely a go-to place around town for a chicken rice fix. Tasty and not too oily which feels great.
A signature dessert here! Amazing way to end off a lovely lunch. Refreshing and light.
Apparently this is a signature dish here! Amazingly light and fluffy fried egg. On the flip side, it also errs on a little tasteless and it is ohhhh soooo oilyyyy.
The tom yum soup and green curry (not pictured) were good, the basil chicken nice but spicy, the kang kong quite normal.
In the best possible way, of course.
A short walk away from Tai Seng MRT. Really succulent and fatty but really delicious and tasty. A little on the pricey end though. Was in a group of 3; we shared the platter of char siew (pictured) and each had a plate of plain rice and it was $7 per pax.
Simple, delicious, clean. I was blown away by how amazing this was. The apple and date syrup were not too sweet, the peanut butter absolutely creamy, complemented by the freshly baked sourdough slice. And will you just look at that presentation, how beautifully sliced and laid out the apple is. Visited early one morning at 8am and I was the only customer. Sat outside when the morning air was still cool and fresh before the rush, and it was very calming.
Hands down, the best. Grew up on this and swear by it.
