It's been a long time since she had cake due to chicken pox (she can't have eggs) and she definitely super happy about this delicious birthday dessert!
Made mini hojicha pavlovas w/ matcha cream, topped with more hojicha powder and Alishan Tea Jelly! Decent first try, still a lot to improve on! The strong tea flavor from @matchayasg 's premium Matcha and Hojicha powder really made a huge difference to the entire balance of the flavour, tho I still think abit of fruits will make it better! Hah
Thin crusted, beautifully marinated minced pork, fresh oyster, prawns and chives, it was so shiok that all of us at grandma's place went "eh, ji gai ho jiak Leh!" (Eh, this one nice Leh)... enjoyed every single bite of it, flavourful, crispy but not too oily!!!

This vegetarian hawker stall near bedok library recreates typical meaty dishes into a variety of meatless and vegetarian friendly version. Loving this place already!
I was amazed by the lovely symphony of sweet, salty, fruity and milky flavour... paired with freshly toasted baguette... it was the only edible dish we had for the meal. (The fried fish was too watery inside, the chicken and the fries was so normal that their flavor were almost forgotten as we leave the place.) A recommendation for this dish would be to add some nuts and other dried berries to enhance its flavour and texture complexity.

Delicious cookies with the fragrance of the dried shrimp (heibi) and a light heat. This delicious snack made my chi yi morning Xiao perfect! 😋😋😋😋
