We ordered the Fried Chicken with a $2 top up option to change half of it into another flavor so we got original & garlic chicken. Food was great, chicken was fresh and the skin was very crispy, very flavorful as well. My friend and i agreed out of the 2, the garlic chicken was nicer (probably due to the sauce). The portion of the chicken mentions to feed 2 people but i feel that can feed 3 people instead. My friend and I were so full which I suspected i grew a few inches after that 😅
Very glad to have used the burpple beyond (premium membership trial) deal where i scored a 1 for 1 deal on their mains especially for a Friday night where there aren’t much deals for dining. The other dish we got was some creamy spaghetti. I would recommend that dish as well. Thanks Burpple!
And guess what. I ate in the same restaurant as PM Lee and Tony Abbott!! Seeing them in the park was already a bonus, having them enter our restaurant halfway through our meal was even more 😱😱😱 Hahaha and so our dinner was made twice more exciting because of that LOL.
Udders is the place to go to if you're in the mood for some alcoholic flavoured ice cream. Always they have so many flavours available for u to choose from. I got Oktobeer (Stout & Beer) & Mari Kita (red velvet cheesecake)
Hearty lunch set for only $8.80 at one of the stalls diagonally opp montana brew bar. Spaghetti was well cooked and tangy. The white bowl was the sauce that you could pour onto it to make it creamy or you could eat it agilo olio style. Chicken was crispy and had 2 servings of it. Lunch set comes with a drink and truffle mushroom soup (which i devoured it cos i was too hungry) will come back again to try their other items!
Quiet and relaxed atmosphere with a huge indoor playground that would be any child's heaven, it is a place definitely recommended for families with young children or any friends who would like to have a catch up session. Wide range of desserts available from cakes, toasts, waffles to patbingsu and they even have sweet potato latte (something that i miss after coming back from korea). Generous in their portion as well (huge scoop of ice cream) , i would say this is worth my $10. Will be good to have someone to share the dessert with u 😂 ordered this by accident wanted the beaker one but its fine i'll come here again anyways~
Went there a couple of times before, decided to try out their kimchi soup ($7) this time. The portion was so generous, I probably ate my lifetime's worth of kimchi then (other ingredients were: beancurd, korean tang hoon😂, pork). I guess because of the amount of kimchi that was in the soup, the soup was very sour. Will update in the near future other dishes that im gonna try there! I would recommend their bibimbap & stir fry pork/chicken $8/7.50 (their serving of meat is generous as well can order for 2 to share)
I'm there once again after half a yr has passed. Added more seats outside in comparison to the first time I visited. Although it was a Sunday afternoon, managed to get seats inside after 10mins. Decided to try the crepe this time round and boy it was good when accompanied with this rich chocolate truffle ice cream (pure dark choc but its sweet still) $6.50 in total. If you would like to have Nutella sauce on ur crepe u can always add $1 for it.
The BBQ buffet here might well be the most affordable buffet around. At only $14.90++ for lunch on weekdays and $24.90++ for dinner, K.COOK makes a great place for dining in groups and eating till you drop without burning a hole in your pocket. The meats are well-marinated and come in a good variety. With great value and a good selection, they're really bringing in the crowds - so be prepared to queue!
What a huge Thosai Masala for lunch! Finally get to eat it near my house's Kopitiam. Its good no wonder the stall is popular. #vegetarian #cheapfood #lunch
Bro brought mom & i to jiak ho liao last week at the tpy branch of Tim Ho Wan. So happy that i could finally try their dim sum. There were some dishes that was super like nice the michelin star roasted pork bun. 😍 happiness~ #throwback #foodie #dimsum
Cafe hopping friday afterschool by myself cos.. Well i just felt like it 😂 Perks? Free wifi & the cakes aren't that expensive. (No idea about the other things) Tried the chocolate truffle cake w/rum. Not bad for the pricing! (got abit sick of it when i had 1/4 left to finish) $3.90. Mocha was not bad too.
Total cost about $11. Ordered the student set with iced lemon tea n ice cream (last time in simei used to have soup of the day as well i think) Went ard 12nn on a Monday and crowd was ok. Dunno why i found it nicer in the past.. Perhaps too spoilt by going cafehopping too often until my standard increase liao oops.
