So happy that they open for lunch now! The thin slices of well marbled wagyu were soft and flavourful, and they were pretty generous with the portion. The oozy egg on top was a nice touch too. The seasoned rice was a bit too sour imo, but quite tasty. For 18++ its really reasonably priced and worth a try!

Prices range about 3 to 4 bucks, which is slightly higher than most coffeeshop dim sum. But they make up for it with quality ingredients and bigger sizes. The skin for CCF and XLB was too thick. The star was undoubtedly the spare ribs, which were well seasoned and boasts a good meat to bone ratio 👍 worth checking out if you stay around the area and crave dim sum!

There was no honey taste to be found. Very garlicky, kinda bitter. Cant say i'll try it again.

The generous, thick slices of char siew were super tender, while the seemingly sauceless noodles were springy and surprisingly flavourful(albeit a little too salty imo). Great find for lunch. Service staff were really friendly too!

The oyster and pork burger was satisfying and tasty, although the bread bordered a tad on the soggy side. The warm nacho chips were a great accompaniment. Colleague enoyed her quinoa steak bowl too. Nett prices with the ongoing promo makes pretty worthwhile to pop over for lunch!

With the price range of around 4 bucks per item, the dim sum here is more affordable then other establishments while not compromising on the quality. Everything was yummy, and i especially loved the crispy prawn rice roll, something you dont find elsewhere! My new to go dim sum place!

We tried all 4 kings available. Butao king was still my favourite, with the broth rich but not too cloying. Black king was way too thick, almost like tar, making it really difficult to finish. The taste of the noodles was vaguely reminiscent of black pepper crab somehow. Red king at level2 spiciness(5+2) had just the right kick for someone with a below average tolerance for spice. Green king was interesting, tasting like italian food. Generally the food was enjoyable, although noodles got a little soggy towards the end - go for hard noodles. And the egg was the best ramen egg i ever had. Worth a try!

Umm I really wanted to love this. The uni was creamy and generous, but lacking umami and sweetness. It actually had kind of a bitter aftertaste. And the rice was too soggy/sticky for my liking. Although i suppose its worth the price, but for 40 bucks I had hoped to be wowed.

The bowl consists of 3 prawns, 1 brinjal, 1 sweet potato, 1 mushroom. Everything is freshly fried and stays crispy till the last bite. Amount of sauce and rice was just right too. For 11.80, it comes with tea and soup. #damnworthit #maituliao

2nd time at this place, and it was much better than the first. This time i could taste the charred flavour in the meat, and the sauced rice was tasty, especially after mixing the egg in. Pork belly really could be softer though. Hope they keep making improvements!

For 14 dollars, the (upsized) bowl still looks sadly small. But it was undoubtly yummy and actually filling enough. The maki here was great - freshly fried ebi is always appreciated. For a place that calls themselves japanese curry express - the curry dish was the least express of them all - we thought they had forgotten about it. And it wasnt worth the wait. I would return for the mentai don and makis!

Going for a5 miyazaki wagyu buffet, i was disappointed by the a5 miyazaki wagyu cuts that were available, as they were too lean and thinly sliced to enjoy. The usda karubi(pictured above) was the one that we kept going for, and the seafood available (salmon and scallops) were nice too. However, for the price, i expected to be able to enjoy quality japanese beef. surely we can find better deals elsewhere. One note though, the black sesame ice cream was fantastic.
