No hubbies and kids to distract us from ourselves, we binged for an entire afternoon over a delightful spread of #shabushabu and sinfully luscious #tarts. Our laughter also took over the entire restaurant 😈. Such love is the result of the close friendship we built up through our kids ♡ U gals know who u are.
Their Salted Egg Yolk Fries were pretty good though they are best eaten while the crisp is still there. Better to share as the serving is big.

Have to wait for year end again. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Mont d'Or is a kind of Vacherin cheese, made from raw cow's milk. Available only seasonally starting from roughly Sep til Dec, my family gets to enjoy it when my sis & BIL brings back tubs of it from his annual home trip.
Mont d'Or is full of buttery flavour and velvety texture, packaged in a wooden box for containing the cheese while heating it up in the oven. It can be found in France or Switzerland. We eat it with my sis' homemade jiam tao loti!
