favourite mookata place! very affordable and reasonable portions given. the chili deserves a special commendation, the right balance between sour and spicy 😋 must try if you live in the west~

one of the more popular mookata chains around, safe to say quality across all outlets are pretty good. sadly i realised their portions have shrunk a lot especially for minced pork and prawn paste! probably the effects of the pandemic 😢

a lot less rowdy than their neighbour (golden mile complex), air-conditioned and surprisingly good ventilation! can’t really go wrong with this franchise

tom yum soup was so addictive!! filled with seafood~ the basil chicken was just okay as i felt they could’ve been more generous with the portion of meat

finally trying their chicken and it was so tender! mushroom sauce really complements the dish and adds a tinge of sweetness. even asked for more sauce and ngl it tastes like mushroom soup 🤣 this was part of their dinner set meal that comes with a starter and dessert (pudding), worth it!

probably the only 2 flavours that are good here — cereal milk & loaded cookies n cream. waffles were very crispy and good!! place is kinda small and can get quite loud though

a classic dish at ikea, the salmon has definitely shrunk a little but it’s still as good. love the round potato-brocolli thingy, super filling and tasty! always come for the fresh river prawns but usually out of stock 😥

fav bowl ever!! the truffle rice deserves a special mention, flavourful with ever bite. minced tuna and fatty tuna complemented really well! best part is all bowls here are pretty affordable. fuss free dining space but for the price you really can’t complain~ they accept grabpay!! 🤑

love the cosy zen deco of the place!! can get really crowded so go during off-peak periods. this is the vegan matcha and fudge brownie ($12.8) brownie was melt-in-your-mouth and i liked the caramel biscuit on top. also tried the matcha hojicha drink which was pretty good too~ nice place to chill but take note they set a 1h dine-in limit now

got the 4 kinds sashimi with salmon, tuna, hamachi and scallops, all were pretty thick and fresh! chirashi was a little underwhelming with thinner slices but the sweet prawn was so tasty 🤤 also tried the mentai squid (not pictured) and it’s definitely worth it! drenched in generous amount of mentai sauce. this outlet in particular has a really zen vibe, perfect for date nights

used burpple beyond deal so the total price was pretty worth it. pizzas were very thin, crispy and light! what wowed me was actually the white cheese sauce that went with the tortilla chips 🤤 so sinfully good and a must try!
