used Beyond for 1f1 chirashi don ($30) which made it affordable but it was nothing fancy. we had to wait 40min for RAW food 🤢 and they even forgot the slice of hotate + amaebi that they eventually brought out. do note that it is not plain white rice but instead seasoned with pickles. not too bad but felt it overpowered the fish. they gave kanpachi instead of hamachi and i’m not a big fan. pretty generous with the ikura though! overall mediocre food and would not come back if not for the deal/if i had other options

my go-to for affordable don that’s brimming with an assortment of fish! particularly love the whelk which isn’t commonly available that adds a nice crunch. it’s a kiosk with limited seats for a quick n fuss-free meal

love the borscht soup and braised beef noodles here! noodles are so springy and beef is super tender. condensed milk bun and pork chop (not pictured) is also a must try. fuss free comfort food~

my 2 fav flavours — hojicha and speculoos! can rarely find hojicha ice cream around and this is definitely worth a try if you’re a fan.

this was so worth it for the price! really strong thai tea taste and a pretty decent portion. soft serve was very creamy and silky, worth a try~ one of the better thai tea ice creams i’ve tasted

place feels to me just like a slightly more atas version of astons 😅 duck confit was not bad, skin was crispy and of good size

ever since i tried the creme brûlée brown sugar drink here, i’ve never went back 🤤 it may be a little sweet at first but with a quick stir, the crunchy sugar bits & cheese foam go so well together!

was so excited to find out they were opening in sg after trying in taiwan! personally felt it wasn’t as good (?) but could be simply because i‘m not overseas 😅 nevertheless pearls could be softer but brown sugar was yummy! one of the more pricey bbt in the market but worth a try~

yet another bbt from taiwan~ the boba to drink ratio was too overwhelming for me, would ask for less boba next time. personally feel i’ve tasted better brown sugar drinks! but i guess you can only call yourself a bbt connoisseur if you’ve tasted one from each brand 😛

first fell in love with their matcha drink which apparently is seasonal and sadly no longer available. the other drinks i’ve tried so far were not that fantastic to me

the highly-raved bun didn’t turn out to be what i expected but i can see why it’s so popular. worth trying for the price, don’t skip the microwaving step to experience the ooze! cookie crumbles added some sweetness to the bitter matcha but i guess it isn’t really my thing ☹️

very affordable peking duck here. either opt for 2 buns or rice to go with the duck for only ~$6! good portion and crispy skin
