One of the recommended dishes from the staff that was more value for money (read: bigger portion for the price). This was on the big plate menu. Nothing sort of a stew by it reminded me of a less tangy shashuku with the eggs especially. Strangely, it came with no bread to grab the “stew” with. Could do with more kimchi and more flavourful chorizo.

Definitely need to throw away the old impression of the homeground coffee at Katong, as this version was on the pricier side.

Though the space is now bigger, food menu is also bigger - mostly sharing plates (big and small).

$1 Sushi? For 30 & 31 July! Their opening promotion for @sushigo.sg’s newest outlet at AMK Hub 4th floor (near the cinema) - Applicable to unlimited sushi from $1.80 to $3!

This robot themed outlet has futuristic interiors that feature robot waiter - Robby - that brings you to your seats and many GO-bots that send you your sushi right to you table.

Trying the new @mcdsg National Day Laksa Prawn Burger 🍔

There were only subtle hint of Laksa flavour for this one, but I love the combination of the prawn patty and egg, there could be more sauce.

Do add on the sweet and sour chicken cutlet that was super juicy!

Silky soft Chee Cheong Fun with fragrant curry soup, No the last time I had it it was much more spicier. The roast pork is much much better than the char Siew! Love the crispy skin, the char Siew on the other hand was too dry!

Veganbliss took over the last outlet of the popular LovingHut. Veganbliss is now backed by Zi Zai Vegetarian, that opens D’life and Divine Vegetarian, so you might find some of their usual dishes here as well.

They also retained some of Lovinghut’s dishes - like the special char Kuay tiao.

The class Nasi Lemak was well done, the chilli was super Lemak - really worth a try!

Was quite fragrant despite it being vegan, soft tofu were done to resemble egg fried with kway tiao. Topped with lots of veggie and some mock seafood.

Portion was the right amount, slightly pricy (cause I gotten from Grab).

New cold brew white to add to my collections!

The coffee was well balanced, the oat milk went well with the coffee, could be stronger, but despite it being made with oat milk, it was under relatively creamy 🤩

5 chunky pieces of fried chicken, love that the batter was thin and the chicken juicy. Best with a squeeze of lemon and a bit of Mayo.

The chicken was marinated making it tasty and enjoyable. Portion was big enough, and I was pretty full - good for sharing and then ordering a main and a good pint of beer to go with!

Sashimi was thick and fresh, plate alittle big for my 3 pieces of salmon 😂 I guess $8 is slightly pricy but I didn’t know what else to other on top of my Tori Karaage.

Stumbled on @soulcoffeesg while looking for coffee @kinexsg - this constellation inspired cafe have robot waiter, barista and coffee and cocktails named after horoscopes. The whole cafe has ever changing moving backgrounds and interesting photo ops.

I only had time for a takeaway coffee and it was o-Kay, abit on the milder side but taste alright.

I know, I know… I super LATE to this. But forgive me as I only having it NOW - and it’s not too late to rectify if you have had @linorestaurant’s Burrata ($28) Pizza. I added mushroom for an extra $6. Pizza still remains vegetarian 🌱

Is Three’s a crowd? Or you just need 3 people to finish a serving?

First visit to @threesacrowdcafe, the one that caught my attention is the Churros Waffles ($12.50, I added on a scoop of ice cream as well).

The churros waffles came with a layer of cinnamon sugar but the waffles is alittle too soft. I was expecting it to be more crispy like a churros. The original set comes with 4 quarter pieces, chocolate syrup and marshmallows (the marshmallows are a little out of place here tho).

The star 🌟 was definitely the Roasted Pistachio Ice cream - it was smooth and creamy, Will defo come back for the ice creams!
