Here’s hoping to a slow start this long weekend - I had mine last week @slow.bakes 🍞
Simple menu of soft boiled eggs (the eggs were damn good and fresh, I swear!) and many choice of bread to go with spread. I had the foolproof homemade Kaya and butter with brioche bread.
Can’t help but also gotten a few of the fresh bakes - cheese mushroom, Tom Yum Cheese and Hazelnut Chocolate buns. All selections were vegetarian 🌱 and allium free :)
Paired up with a cup of iced kopi and people/scenery watch from there!
The small ramen stall @ramen99tp really temporarily transported me to Japan with their narrow shop and simple Japanese decoration!
This unassuming shop dishes out pretty decent ramen - I had the spicy tonkonsu ramen with Chicken Karaage set! Flavour profile was pretty deep and the spice level was just right for me. My only gripe on this was that it was slightly too oily.
This is as good as my favourite Lau Wang Claypot Sesame Oil Chicken but this can be found just downstairs my house!
Second item on the menu at $5.50 plus 50c for white rice, this is super shiok especially on a rainy day! Generous Amount of chicken pieces that were tender but still with a nice bite.
Lots of ginger pieces (but it wasn’t overwhelming) and super fragrant from the sesame oil 🤤
Best part with a bowl of white rice to go with the gravy - Will have this very soon!
At @eatkrapow’s Chinatown Point outlet! Oh how I miss their Drunken Noodles ($9)! Love the perfect combination of savoury and spiciness - with that slippery smooooth noods 🤤 Wish there were more!
Located along Tyrwhitt Road, just next to the cafe with the superhero 🐱
I felt the food served here had a local twist to the usual Thai Food that we have.
The Three Little Pig ($19) reminded me strongly of Roasted Pork Belly, with crispy top, but maybe they had stir fried it a little too long with the spices, left the meat on the tough side.
The Moocano ($23), a nod to the popular Thai street snack Mooping, felt more like a saucy Char Siew, but I like it how that paired it with sticky glutinous rice 🤤
Our favourite will definitely be the Wrap It Up ($19) - like a deconstructed Pad Thai wrap in butterhead lettuce - it was refreshing and tasty.
Though the soup Not A Tom Yum ($19) was super aesthetically down to the pour shot - like the name suggest, it really was not a bowl of Tom Yum but tasted like a thick bowl of Prawn Mee Soup.
With its refreshing outlet on the interiors, this robot-themed outlet features robot servers to eye-catching “Go-Bots” that delivers your sushi to your table!
20 new Items are available with it opening like the Parma Ham & Cream Cheese Sushi or the Hotate or Aka Ebi with Shoyu butter 🧈
Always good for Soy Sauce Chicken! Love the plump chicken, but I probably left it out for too long (for photos, my bad), it was cold and abit tough!

Definitely one of my favourite dish from the lots (apart from my obsession with Lor Mee). This was an interesting yet comforting dish, albeit a little messy to eat and flaky pot pie puff pastry fly everywhere while you dig into the dish.
Love the umami and richness of the curry - with quite a bit of spice! Shiok!
Unfolding it’s newest chapter @jewelchangiairport is @thehainanstory: Chapter ✌️
If you are familiar with this concept, they have other outlets in Boss Hotel (Lavender) and also in @hillionmall (Bukit Panjang). The menu here is also entirely new, and you can find different items here to enjoy!
What I recommend would be the White Braised Duck Hainanese Lor Mee ($16.80) that feature a slightly spicy braised sauce with ramen egg 🥰. If not go for the table favourite Curry Chicken Pot Pie ($13.80) - flaky pot pie puff pastry went superbly went with the savoury spicy curry 🤤
Save some space for their Hainanese Dessert which I found them alittle old school but with some interesting twist like the Teh Tarik Cream Horn, flavours were there but I wish it was stronger 😆
@bitpsg is celebrating their 8th birthday TODAY (18 July) for a week till 24 July!
What to look out for is the special broth - Golden Seafood Pickled Vegetable (available till 30 September)! I really liked, it was like a spicy version of the lobster broth they had previously 🤤
