A cosy place found at Level 7, Orchard Central. The signature Ramen consists of a rich, creamy pork bone soup, roasted garlic oil & homemade char siu. You can choose 3 different textures for noodles and the other noodle items on the menu are based on what toppings u want (e.g With spring onion, beansprouts, green onions).
The broth was aromatic and not too salty despite the garlic oil. Choose soft noodles which suits what I like. However, I don't really like the char siu, it was quite thick and dry.
Also ordered the fried chicken karrage with wasabi mayo sauce for dip. This looks more like a chicken cutlet. Found it to be too oily.
Affordable and decent place for a dinner.
Always my choice for order whenever I dine at Collins! Got a member price at $9.90, which is really very worth!
Chicken was tender, with a thin & crispy layer of skin, the sauce (can choose from mushroom, black pepper and 1 more) is slightly more watery but add flavour to the dish. The corn is very sweet, must try!
Overall, the dishes at Collins are affordable and value for money. You can even add on a soup/B&J ice cream + drink @$6.90-$7.90.
Highyl recommended!
Very worth the money for a 1 for 1 deal, despite redeeming it at ala carte price instead of set price (staff said they don't have the set - which consist of 1 toast & 1 drink).
Bought the turkey bacon & smoked chicken ($5.50). A bit greasy but filling for a quick bite 👍🏻 The scrambled egg was a generous serving but signature sauce could be drizzled more tho.
Made a special trip here before it closes down..Apparently many people also visited bcos by the time we reach at 3plus, the menu was only left with 3 items :(
It was located quite a distance away from Farrer Park MRT. Waited for 30mins for the dessert to arrive.
The molten lava cake was done well to create a good avalanche effect! Loved the hot dark choco cake mixed with the ice cream. Worth my trip 👍🏼
This is one of the popular non-spicy dishes, I personally find the dish to be really good, the serving is generous with lots of meat. The only downside is that after a while I find the dish to be too sweet😅 The cutlery used in this cafe is very ig worthy tooo!
Other authentic-Thai dishes 👍🏼
- Basil chicken/pork (can even choose the spicy level!) - Tom Yum soup (with seabass)
Quite pricey for 1 Scoop, this one taste more like yuzu, if u're looking for a refreshing taste. They change flavours everyday, and has no best sellers though.
The homemade yuzu-soysauce-chilli oil dip makes the noodles more flavourful & rich, not too spicy too! The noodles have a soft & springy texture. Buta gyoza seem like normal gyoza with a layer of fried flour on top, not recommended to order.
Price wise is affordable but taste wise I find it not very wow.
Used the 1 for 1 for this, quite worth the money! A decent dish with 4 fresh crayfish, the tomato sauce was a tad too much, overpower the garlic chilli & white wine taste but still a good dish!
