This was the best dish of the place. Portions were huge and the dory was fresh. Great that there were free flow soft drinks here as well.
To be honest I really struggled to finish this. The salmon was bland and it got pretty dry towards the end. Pretty unsatisfying. 😕
We added truffle topping for the carbonara and they were quite generous with the truffle as shown in the picture. However, I felt that this pasta was too jelat and honestly kinda tasted like those you could find at food courts. My sis finished this within 5 min though so maybe it was really good but just not to my liking. 🤷🏻♀️
Price 💰: $14.90
Verdict 🙇🏻♀️: We were pleasantly surprised by the linguine with bacon and mushroom as the ingredients used were really fresh! There was abit of truffle flavour as well!
Price 💰: $21.00 in total for ribeye and cheesesteak burger with burpple 1 for 1
Verdict 🙇🏻♀️: The steak was so worth it at this price point! Ordered the medium rare and it was juicy, tender not too bloody. I could eat the steak just by itself without the gravy as the steak was of such great quality and well seasoned. The mac and cheese that came with the steak as a side was definitely one of the better mac and cheese I’ve had as well! But it got a little jelat towards the end. The fries that came with the cheesesteak burger was amazing though, hot and crispy!
Service🎖: The staff here had amazing service!!! We called for directions as we got lost trying to find the place. The staff was so nice and friendly about it and she even came out to look for us to bring us to the restaurant! The staff were really friendly and welcoming as well despite us coming when the restaurant was about the close! Definitely made the dining experience a whole lot more enjoyable!!
Price 💰: $22 for the prawn tagliolini and $19 for the burrata with parma ham
Food 🍴: The tagliolini was cooked al dente to perfection! The sauce was unique and a generous portion of delicious albeit small prawns was given. This was amazingggg but not the best I’ve tasted tbh. It does taste very authentically Italian and is definitely one of the more memorable pasta I’ve tasted nonetheless (huge pasta fan here 🙋🏻♀️). I tried burrata for the first time here and I love it!!! The cheese was bland but it goes so well with the saltiness of the parma ham.
Ambience ✨: I must say I really loved the ambience of this restaurant. Upon stepping in you’d see wooden shelves stacked with an assortment of pastas, jams, wines etc sourced from Italy which added to the authenticity of restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was spacious yet cozy at the same time. Went there on a thursday afternoon but it was already quite busy given the popularity of this place!
Verdict 🙇🏻♀️: Absolutely LOVED my experience at this restaurant. Will definitely come back to try all the other dishes!!!
Price 💰: Approx $30 (after gst & service charge) for 2 prawn ramen using burpple 1 for 1
Verdict 🙇🏻♀️: Went there on a wednesday night but the place seemed abit under-staffed as we had some difficulty trying to get the waiter’s attention when we first stepped into the restaurant and when we were trying to pay. The food was served quite quickly though! I think they ran out of char siew pieces so we were given 3 big prawns per bowl instead. The broth had an intense seafood flavour and the noodles was springy and cooked just right! The presentation of the food was nice which made it feel like a premium bowl of prawn mee. All in all, the experience was alright, not really special or memorable but a good bowl of prawn ramen nonetheless.
Price💰: $9.50 for 2 items on The Chocolate Ice Cream Bar Menu (Burpple 1-for-1 deal), $9 for Signature Frozen S’mores, $8 for Single Origin Mocha
Verdict 🙇🏻♀️: Absolutely LOVED the 88% Very Dark Chocolate, and that’s coming from someone who isn’t usually a fan of chocolate. The staff recommended us to choose the signature 80% dark chocolate ice cream and it went really well with the 88% dark chocolate sauce. Don’t worry it wasn’t too bitter at all, the taste was just right! We devoured the Signature Frozen S’mores as well. It was really tiny but so good!!! The Chocolate Affogato was alright, just like what you’d expect of a typical affogato. The mocha was marketed as “Not your usual mocha” on the menu and it was indeed very different from the mocha I’m used to. It’s unique but not to my liking!
The dining experience was really positive! We ordered the umami prawn, truffle carbonara, lobster and blue mussels pasta and barramundi. Our favourites were the umami prawn and truffle carbonara. The lobster bisque sauce in the lobster and blue mussels pasta was a little too strong for our liking but the seafood was really fresh! Absolutely loved the ambience of the restaurant as well :)
