Like a good plate of truffle fries with a generous amount of cheese sprinkled on top. Fries are slightly thicker than your normal shoe string fries.

Ok guys. This needs to be renamed SPECTACULARLY GREAT braised beef cheek risotto π. I swearz this is the best thing I've ever tasted. Ginger risotto with beef cheeks (the tempura looking thing at the ), soy broth, spring onion, and cubes of pickled radish and seaweed with each bites that compliments everything so well. There's also a huge braised daikon camouflaged with the broth at the bottom front.
Stop reading and go have some!!!!!
Oh wait read this. I highly recommend y'all make a reservation as it opens at 12 and by 1300 then place was already flooded and ppl had to start queueing alr. Also, it was pouring that day and to get to the cafe u need to brave the storm for 10 mins from bugis station. Ppl were not afraid to brave it. So pls make your reservations.
After trying the one in Tanuki raw I have been craving for it every since. It was a pretty good bowl with a strong truffle smell AND taste and also the fried garlic and egg just adds many -umphs to this bowl of goodness. However, it was a pretty small portion though, I was still hungry after polishing off the entire bowl. IMO, Tanuki raw still takes the trophy home.
(Bugis outlet; can't seem to find the location)Got their signature pasta which has an Asian twist to like an Aglio Olio but it does still taste like a good plate of pasta. Pasta was al dante with eggs, garlic, onions and spring onions. Would definitely get this again next time.
Went there with a pretty big group of friends at about 530 and there was still space although we tried to book two days prior and it was full house.
"Wintermelon tea" ($6) from Brother bird.
The texture of the soft serve was not as creamy as I tot it would be. It's more of a slushie texture although still creamy. There's a slight hint of wintermelon taste which is just enough and not too sweet. The bottom was coated with some rice puffs (I'm not rly for the taste rice puffs, just a personal preference).
Overall, it's rly worth it. The serving size was huge also. My friends got the signature ($14) which came with a doughnut at the bottom. Gosh, that was absolutely delicious. The taste and texture of the doughnut was just splendid. For the soft serve you can choose form what's available that day.

Yummy burritos with so much flavour in each of them. We tried them all: spicy pulled pork, soft shell crab and roasted chilli nut chicken. They are priced at $5.90 each but I feel that it's much more worth it to get the set (applies to both dinner and lunch) which are $14 for a starter main and a drink (:
Charcoal grilled beef patty, foie gras, cheddar, caramelised onions, lettuce, chilli soy tapenade, fried (sweet) potato.
Since it was our first time there, one of the waitress recommended this dish to us so we decided to give it a try. Also, judging by the ingredients it looked like it was packed full of flavours. But to our disappointment, the burger could not beat its potato pals on the side. I couldn't taste the onions and the beef just tasted like.. beef. However, the patty was rly juicy though. The potatoes on the side were crispy on the outside and was really well seasoned. It was a mixture of fried potatoes and sweet potatoes.
The service at this place is A+! When you need something they attend you real quick and would always greet you with a smile. The interior was rly beautiful from the plates to the tables and chairs to the entire setting and atmosphere. Would love to chill here for just coffee.
Oh, also would like to mention that our food came pretty quick in contrast to some reviews. We reached at about 1215 which wasn't crowded yet.
Angel hair pasta, pork ragout, onsen tamago, kale and sakura ebi (small shrimps).
Taste more Asiany than Italian (not in a bad way). The pork complemented the dish well and taste a bit like those you find in lu rou fan.
That tanginess from the pickles and beef patty just went so well together. Not forgetting the support from the demi brioche buns.
Fried onions, spring onions, fries/fat chips-looking-fries drenched in chilli beef sauce that's slightly tangy and creamy at the same time (hidden bits of beef under the fries!!).
~$23 overall (including drinks and bingsu). This place is kinda like fast food style, order at counter and collect your food when buzzer beeps. Bibimbap and fries were good but it's slightly different from what u get in Korean restaurants although I can't put my finger on what it is. Dumplings were pretty good too. My friend said the sauce is good. It's not vinegar, it's something thicker and sweeter and salty at the same time.
I don't recommend the strawberry bingsu tho. The ice was rly soft but the "strawberry" was some sort of jam I think. Something like the sauce you get when u order the mad sundae. When it's mixed with the shaved ice the consistency was quite strange.
