~$23 overall (including drinks and bingsu). This place is kinda like fast food style, order at counter and collect your food when buzzer beeps. Bibimbap and fries were good but it's slightly different from what u get in Korean restaurants although I can't put my finger on what it is. Dumplings were pretty good too. My friend said the sauce is good. It's not vinegar, it's something thicker and sweeter and salty at the same time.
I don't recommend the strawberry bingsu tho. The ice was rly soft but the "strawberry" was some sort of jam I think. Something like the sauce you get when u order the mad sundae. When it's mixed with the shaved ice the consistency was quite strange.
Spicy chicken and potato pancake for $12!! Potato pancake was extra delicious π
Korean food here is rly one of the best in Singapore. Finally got to eat my bibim naengmyeon ($12++) after watching too many episodes of "Three Meals A Day". It's pretty spicy for a wuss like me and its topped with pears, cucumber and an egg. YUM! While you're here, ordering the chives pancake (buchujeon, $20) is a must!!
Side dishes here were Super yummy too, includes, braised eggs, spam, kimchi (old and sour type) broccoli, and fresh kimchi. Yes to refills!
Currently there's a discount of 51% off from 1130-3pm on weekdays when you order the army stew (~$34++) or the jjimdak. Can be shared with 2-4 people. So it's rly worth it for $17++, after discount. Taste wise was pretty good. We only had two people so this was rly filling. It comes with one serving of ramyeon so we added another (additional $2.90). Refillable sides include pasta, hard boiled egg, kimchi and radish.
Budae jjigae from Auntie Kim's! Portion size is for about 3-4 ppl, $36 with a small portion of ramen but we added another 2 portion, $4/portion. First time have army stew after returning from Korea. It was so good!! They were very generous with the ingredients as well, lots of sausages, luncheon meat, enoki mushroom, beans, and of course the stew itself had just the right amount of spiciness. I would def come back here for their army stew again!
Not your regular Busan sundae gukbap! Haha this is super spicy (maybe u can ask for less spicy when ordering). Soup contains many ingredients too including sundae, pork, and different parts of the pork with onions. We threw in bap(rice) to make it a gukbap π
Delicious! With potato, pork, perilla leaves (?), and mushroom! It's slightly slightly spicy but overall taste really good with some rice. Serves 3-4 ppl.
