Added season prawns for extra $1.80 which they were quite generous with. You can add ebiko, edamame, shrooms and other healthy sides for an extra dollar if you wish.
The pictures on the menu might look a little small but the portion size is actually pretty big!
Only available for take away.
Mannnnn these were great. Comes with 3 drumlets and 3 wings. We chose level 2 spiciness and it was alr super spicy.
Yays back at the refinery again! For brunch this time.
The waffle LOOKED a bit soggy when it came but it was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside 😍
We picked French vanilla flavour for the ice cream which complemented the waffle rly well. The other two flavours available were butterscotch and salted caramel. The waffle was decorated with strawberries, blue berries, pistachio and some pretty flowers which we did not touch 😂
Actually was suppose to meet at kitchenette, turns out that whole area seem to be under construction or something. No regrets, have been wanting to try Craftsmen for a while.
The aglio olio style pasta was delicious. The amount of garlic was heavenly and also very generous servings of crunch prawns along with some cherry tomatoes. My friends order the mussel cream pasta which was equally delicious as well with lots of mussels. The soft shell crab burger was good as well, however the portion size was really quite small so i would advice to add some sides to that.
The ambience of the place was rly cosy and great for catching up with friends (:
This was rly tasty and very Kai Wei also. The battered cauliflower was seasoned with some pepper flakes/spicy seasoning and tastes amazing with the wasabi mayo which rly packed quite a punch.
Warning tho, this is quite spicy and you might end up drink a little too much water before your mains even arrive.
Pretty new place with very affordable prices and good food (: this was a pretty big cup of delicious cheese fries with pork and spring onions. Sadly the cheese was only at the top ): mix it well before digging in, if not you'll end up with just fries at the end like us.
I think it's called rock and rolla or somewhere along that line 😂 big ass scoop of ice cream and some deliciously crispy and fluffy waffles 😍
OH AND THEY HAVE THE POPPING CANDY SPRINKLED EVERYWHERE. U can hear the popping crackling sound when it's served. made it super fun to eat this!
On their Today's Special menu. Lots of chunky slices of garlic, sundried tomatoes, Chilli and a generous amount of prawns. It's more towarda the "Chao Mian" feel than the wetter type of Aglio Olio. Just the way I like it!
Gosh this place is just beautiful. The food, the setting, the ambience, absolutely love it. Got some French toast for breakfast (they don't charge GST or service charge!) the toasts were slightly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The berries were super refreshing with a mix of sweet and sour flavours. The dish was drizzled with maple syrup and topped off with a scoop of ice cream (:
Although this was rly good, it might not be a good idea to have this all by yourself for breakfast 😅 it was a bit too much at the end cos of the sweetness. And if you have the option to sit outside, I would recommend it! It's sheltered and there's a fan/1aircon thing so it doesn't get hot. The aircon seats in the first floor was where the kitchen was so you might smell like your food when your done 😂
This place is a gem! Prices were super reasonable and free of GST and service charge 🤗
Located right above one north MRT station this place was pretty accessible. Upon arrival the place was super packed and we thought we had to queue for a long time. Turns out someone was having a party haha but we manage to get seats immediately.
Got the scrambled eggs ($6) which comes with greens and a piece of amazingly soft Hokkaido bread. I topped up the dish with a slice of ham and chicken sausage.
Let me just starts with the eggs. Although it looks a bit too cooked, it was perfect. The right amount of creaminess and texture, lightly seasoned with black pepper. The bread and the scrambled eggs went really well together.
We had their bread pudding as well. Ordered the coconut and banana which came with a scoop of ice cream. It costs about $6 and we thought that was really worth our money. Wished that the coconut taste was stronger but u can subtly taste the grated coconut in the bread pudding.
Definitely a nice place to just chill. The place is a little small, if u can't find a seat don't fret! There are many cafes around this area as well!
Can't rmb the name of this dish but it had a strong taste and smell of truffle with greens at the side and a stick of sausages and prawns coated with a spicy (little bit) sauce. Tasted great and was very flavourful, pasta was nicely done too. The portion was a tiny bit small for me. Inhaled it in about 10 minutes 😂.
You can order it as an ala carte or with their Christmas set which comes with a cake and their Christmas drinks.
This was one delicious cake. Lots of rose and lychee flavour and the cream complemented it really well too. Taste just like a rose macaroon but in a cake form. Yumsss 🤤
Cake was fluffy but a tiny tad dry. There's also a little bit of jam at the base of the cake.
As much as the cake was delicious, the service there was pretty bad tho. The waiters and waitresses looked pissed the whole time.
