What an awesome dinner for a rainy night! We decided to head over to harbor steamboat for some good old pork bone soup. We got lucky as we went without making a reservation, however shortly after it was super packed. We ordered just enough for two. (Pork slices, pork balls, 2 veges, noodles, shrimp dumplings) and the bill was about RM70. I loved the fresh chopped chilli condiment too! Comparing this to bone & pot, i still prefer bone and pot as the soup is milkier than this soup base but this restaurant would be a cheaper alternative 🌈

It pains me to write this about one of my favourite places, however this new burger (i am kambing ) was just a nope, nope, cardboard and nope. The meat was tough and dry, the sauce lacked any kind of flavour and for RM20, this burger was a complete let down. The only up side to my dinner was the potato salad that made a come back. I really hope that they take this burger back into the R&D lab because this right here tasted like a kebab that went wrong. I'l stick to the beef and chicken burgers from now on. 😭

This week, we decided to wander into TTDI. This place has the best play list ever! Like ever. There aren't many spinach white based pasta, but this place serves it for RM28 and it was a decent portion as well. I wished that the sauce surrounding this delish lasagna was a thick layer of bechamel sauce instead😂. Nevertheless, i was happy with this dish as it wasn't too jelak and i swallowed all of it!😂. Service there is impeccable and the waiters were very thoughtful as well! 8/10 for this place and i will be back!!

Alot of work went into concocting this dish! I was really shocked at how much I was getting for Rm19! There were about 4-5 pancakes and a generous amount of ice cream + a cone😂. Not forgetting the strawbie chunks and cookie crumbs. The strawberry sauce wasn't the best that i've tasted but it wasn't too bad as well! Things to note: pancakes weren't as fluffy as i liked them to be and theres a hint of cinnamon in this dish as well.

I have been wanting to try out this dish at the bowery for the longest time so for new years eve, we booked a table at the bowery and dragged the gang along as well. I was honestly very disappointed with this dish in my opinion, the lobster tail was just for show as it was basically just an empty shell. I did inform the manager who told me that the meat was shredded and mixed with the cheese, although I am 99.9% sure that I did not see any hints of lobster in my dish. It was abit gut wrenching to pay RM59 for mac and cheese, but at least the mac and cheese tasted alright? 😭

Pecan pies are really hard to come by in Malaysia. I used to have my fix over at Alexis ( great eastern mall branch ), but it was always a hit or miss with it's availability. Surprised that BLVD actually had one! This was not on the permanent menu btw, it was part of their christmas menu. Things i would change about this dish, remove the syrup, remove the orange zest. Just a warm pie and a bigger scoop of ice cream would fare better. The pecan however was really really big tho!!

Chinese in me is strongk. Dimsum on christmas day😂 Oh! And they forgot yo add sugar in their egg tarts. How strange!

Sushi jiro recently opened in Sunway pyramid and since We decided to have sushi for lunch, we decided to try out sushi jiro. The first plate of scallops that I had was not too bad for the price, however unfortunately, it all went downhill from the scallops. This tamago sushi had an odd black pepper sauce and the egg was just way too sweet. Guess I will stick to sushi zanmai instead from now on.

Screw the noodles, eat everything but the boat noodles.

Finally tried out this dish at two sons bistro! Although they had an array of sauces to choose from to go with the clams, but the cream and bacon sauce was calling my name! I was a little disappointed with the clams as it was overly salty. Someone might had accidentally tossed in an extra pinch of salt. The garlic bread however was fantastic! It was so good I asked for more and they happily obliged 😂😂. RM25 for this and I would come back and Will definitely tell them to ease up on the salt.

I knew that Plan B has had a change of menu, however I never thought that i would be this disappointed over their new menu. Portion has magically shrunk and the prices have gone up. I ordered their truffle and cheese toast at a whopping RM18. Mind you, there was almost no truffle taste and the bread was as big as my palm. Also, I was peeking at the portion sizes for the burgers as well and it looked like mini burgers😭. Needless to say, I will not be going back for more.

December is a popular month for birthdays and this time it was my grandma's birthday. So a little backstory on this cake drama. I ordered a 0.5kg cake at the Sunway Pyramid store, paid RM100 for it and when I came back 4 working days later, apparently my order was not taken down. At that moment, I probably died 1000 times inside. Thankfully the two staff working on 15/12/2016 around 1pm was kind enough to offer me the same cake but at 1kg. I would like to say that this cake tasted a little bit sweeter thanks to the two helpful staff at the Sunway pyramid branch. 😍
